The swords were literally Herrschers, and Acheron is shown holding the "Howl" sword in 4:17. And eventually wielding the blade of "Origin". So basically, this is a world where Mei doesn't have Kiana so she killed "End" then IX was like "here, take depression"

It feels more like a parallel to the Previous Era, though: the warriors are wielding the Divine Keys to fight the war (instead of being Herrshers themselves), their order is the one from the Previous Era (with Death being 5th), and the entire struggle is futile because the very basis of the conflict seems to be born of a (inevitable) misunderstanding.

@@Justin-Thyme the herrscher's order is the same as CE, the only thing that differ is that lightning, wind, flame and death appeared at the same moment bc WoH gave the 4 cores to sirin

The 14 Blades of which 12 was a call back to the 12th Herrscher and the last 2, Origin, an Outlier which doesn't suppose to exist and Finality which is the end of all things. The fact that Hino Satoshi was the voice of the Male narrator, gives me hope for meeting Kevin of this world

Truth = Herrscher of truth It connects to Bronya who back herrscher of truth after evolving from herrscher of Reason Core and 300,000 souls that reside in it. It's called the Third Eruption or the Third Impact (the name of the game because its the start of The trios journey) Mist = Herrscher of Wind Herrscher of wind, Wendy is the Honkai counter part to venti from genshin. She was an ex-valkyrie who became a herrscher after a herrscher gem was placed inside her. Frost = Herrscher of Ice Ana Scharic (from the same lineage as Kiana's mother) was former herrscher of Ice. Fate = Herrscher of death and rebirth Herrscher of death in this era was one of the friends of Sirin and helped her in fighting against schiksal durinthe Second Eruption. Later Seele got the powers of herrscher of death and evolved it into Rebirth Flare = Herrscher of fire Previous Era Himeko was the herrscher of fire. She was the one who recruited Fu Hua into joining moth. She was later killed by Kevin. In PE, Yae Sakura's sister became the herrscher of corruption. She was harmless but people didn't believe it and killed her. Because of it Corruption herrscher was set loosed and it launched all of the remaining nuclear weapons into the 3 remaining cities of the world. In current era herrscher of corruption is responsible for the dissolution of Elysian Realm Origin = Herrscher of Origin Mei became the herrscer of origin after inheriting it the authority of Origin from Elysia End = Herrscher of End and later finality Original herrscher of the End was the most powerful herrscher capable of resetting the flow of fate basically restarting the struggle of honkai and mankind. Kiana in the end became the Finality herrscher after every other herrscher submitted their authority to her. She's currently on the moon. All the herrschers always appear in order and are responsible for humanities demise countless times. Only in Previous Era humanity was able to combat them because of Elysia playing a major part and an error in the will of honkai. Basically Elysia is the best.

The order is the one for PE. Current Era is different. Origin - Void - Thunder - Wind - Ice - Earth - Sentience - Domination - Corruption - Ego - Origin - Finality and there is no 13th cause Kiana stopped it before it arrived.

@@gehrmansparr0w Kinda. Binding is the one that was the most difficult to face in the PE (not counting Finality obviously), so Otto made a deal with the Will of Honkai. Rather than becoming a "real" Herrscher, he was just given the Authority of Binding fueled directly by the WoH while also greatly restricted in how he could act (IIRC he used one of the Herrscher of Domination's cores to make the connection), then baited Kiana into using her Void powers to stop him so he could access the Imaginary Tree directly and save Kallen. So basically, Otto allowed them to "skip" facing a real Herrscher of Binding by gaining the Authority, then purposefully jobbing to simultaneously complete his goal of saving Kallen and leaving everyone else well situated to deal with future threats.

Btw both JP & CN voice lines for the male voice is just Kevin Kaslana's va from HI3rd.

Hoyo released some info on Emanator's a few days ago and when it talked about Nihility it mentioned people called Self-Annihilators. Their description sounded pretty familiar...

No host yet for Current Era, but I'm pretty sure Otto took the Binding Authority, and yeah, the Oath of Judah was made from her core. The OG Binding Herrscher could create Anti-Honkai fields that she was immune to, that would shut down all Human Honkai devices. She was killed by Hua and Kevin. The 13 survivors of the fights became the Flame Chasers...

Binding could nullify other forms of energy as well, it was just best as nullifying Honkai energy. IIRC, the anti-Honkai field was automatic, while other stuff (kinetic energy, thermal energy, etc) was just dampened and needed some actual focus/tuning to fully nullify.

Also the narator is kevin’s va i believe and mei is mei’s va so that’s also a cool connection.And the introduction of each sword is the order of each Herrsher that came out in the story of hi3.There’s more honkai references but it’s too much for me to list them all

I can see how this war that had no true hope of resolving, which ended in mutual finality, essentially, just in different ways, of which, 'Acheron' pushed on despite the hopelessness and tragedy of things, would make her eligible to be made IX's emanator as she would, as the lone survivor of it all, strike at IX as the final blade holder of 'Life,' in a sort of meaningless act of rebuttal despite the lack of purpose that was left in the end. Goodness, two entire worlds vanquished, all for the final note of it to be but a lone woman, who stood at the precipice of nothingness despite all her toil; an embodiment of nihility.

I don't know if anyone in the comments had mentioned this yet, but the way this is laid out reminds of when acheron asks us questions at the beginning of Penacony. She first asks "Do you remember me?" just like how the male VA says "do you remember why Izumo forged these blades?" Then they call back later with "So, do you still remember why Izumo forged these blades?" like how acheron asks "So, do you still remember me?" Now I can't remember the exact wording but hopefully I'm not talking out of my ass about this lol

Izumo have 70,033 blades (ref GGZ total herrschers) and from them, they forged it again to make 12 Sentinel sword (ref HI3rd 13 Herrschers).

Loved the video @MinaAoyamaCh! Can't wait for the next video Girl! We finally get more Lore for Acheron, confirming that she is in fact an Eminator of Nihility, if not THE Eminator of Nihility. This also confirms that she is the Raiden Mei and Raiden Shogun of Honkai: Star Rail, and to an extent, that she did have something to do with Duke Inferno's supposed Death. Maybe she actually did Kill him while Constance, Katerina, Dubra and their Brother were out of the Mansion or something, Who Knows! All we know now is that the Duke was at least Possibly Killed by Acheron and that she might be After the Watchmaker's Legacy for time control or something! No the Reason why it fell was because the World was swallowed by XI. Basically nothing could have changed that, so everything that happend on the World was meaningless anyways. It only made Acheron XI‘s Emenator and let her survive that.

Just a note, Himeko was technically a Herrscher, since she developed a Herrscher core. We know this since it's stated in the story that the previous era Herrscher cores were stable, and were unable to make new Herrschers. That's part of the reason they made them into divine keys. However, in chapter 25, when Kiana touched the Herrscher of Fire's core that the puppets got from Himeko, it was able to influence her, and even allowed to become Herrscher of Flamescion. If it was the previous era's core, that wouldn't have worked. Also, the previous era's HoF core is IN Shamash. It literally wouldn't work without it.

The Vermillion Knight Eclipse suit was an experimental divine key created by Dr. Mei to channel the power of a Herrscher core through one's body, creating an artificial Herrscher that fights for humanity. When Himeko's consciousness went inside the Gem of Haste and claimed the authority of Flame from it, she became a Herrscher.

@@Nekogami04 Himeko only time she was a Herrscher was in old era she wasnt in this era just dont lie about that, and the gems doesnt make you a herrscher case point Sirin holding gems for power up but wasnt entirely a herrscher of all of what those gems represent and when she gave htem to her friends they were "pseudo herrschers" not herrschers, with pseudo holding osme tiny part of the power of a herrscher because it was a gem not an awakened core, also remember there was no Core in VKE armor was a gem, the core is in Shamash, there was only 1 core from Old era Herrscher of flames aka Himeko, there was no herrscher of fire in the current era to make VKE from it, was just the gems Sirin was holding.

The cacoon of Finallity was on the moon in HI3, could it be that the Cacoon killed that world as the moon crashing into that planet after it's last herrscher died?, if I understand it correctly then that moon later takes the shape of a black hole... just like IX (Aeon of Nihillity's) Form. On another thing, it seems that Acheron now has some abillities and powers that the other herrschers had.

I'm loving this so much we have 12 blades but to be less confusing to people that didn't play HI3rd the first 5 Herrrshers are the first generation once and the HI3rd story takes place essentially with the 2nd generation witch use the first 5 Hurrsher cores and 2 more new once awaken in the latest story chapters of p1 to be 5-12 and since they are 2nd generation they are being named for 1, 2, 3... to 7th thus 12 in general and then on top of them are Herrshers of Origen and Finality the 13th and 14th technically final Herrshers thou in lore they share the 13th name spot as they represent 2 parts of the same coin if that makes sense
