I think the Stellaron Hunters have a very unique teaser, Blade and Kafka's were overall Chef's kiss in terms of their fights and battle music, Hoyoverse put so much love into these trailers it's insane.

@@unsuitable78All the ex cloud quintet members have the same leitmotif that connects them all (Jing Yuan, Blade, Imbibtor Lunae and Jingliu). The only difference is that the latter 3 have that leitmotif ascending, while Jing Yuan’s is descending

They went above and beyond with Kafka's trailer, it's insane how much of difference in tone there is when you compare them with what came before and even what came after.

Jing Yuan's collaboration with the stelleron hunters during the Ambrosial Arbor Crisis was his way to test both Fu Xuan and Yanqing and build their characters (FX being too one-track minded when it comes to solving problems; YQ being too stubborn to retreat when faced with overwhleming forces). However, most of these moments were overshadowed by either major/minor characters who constantly speak in riddles or flashy scenes that are done for shock values.

If we can count the animated teasers, then I will surely say that Jing Yuan had one of the best ones, The animation was overall gorgeous and that was where we also see Jingliu.

The second I saw the title, I knew Kafka would get her own tier lol

Jing Liu's trailer is so underrated. They hide so much details such as the frozen high cloud quintets and jingliu's shadows beneath the iced lake. One of my personal favorites.

Danil's trailer was kinda always doomed to be overshadowed, be it Kafka's or because of the cutscene during the xianzhou quest where he literally pulls a Moses and parts the sea: that WAS his trailer.

I think the fact that most people who watch Imbibitor Lunae's trailer walk away with their biggest impression being "Wow! Phantylia looks really cool!" is testament to it having failed to really sell you on the character all that well...

Honestly, him pulling a Moses in the story is cool enough, the character itself is great and they gave him a lot, the trailer was a flop bc he had like 3 videos dedicated to him...

I thought you'd be surprised to see serval actually singing in her trailer cus they never shown it in the game and her brother listening to her song at the end of his trailer is kind of cute..

I never really noticed until now, but at the very end of Jingliu’s trailer the Honkai Star Rail logo freezes up. That’s pretty cool

You like Kafka's trailer because of mommy. I like Kafka's trailer because of Vivaldi's Winter. We are not the same.

Music 10/10, Animation 10/10, Character Visual 10/10 etc. What about those who think that everything in the trailer is 10/10... like me?

The only bias I can see in this video is how bias Hoyoverse is for their Stellaron Hunters. Sure, there were other good trailers, but they went wild with the Stellaron Hunter. The only two comparable trailer are Seele's and Topaz'. While Seele is Seele. Topaz seems to be real odd one out.

Over-rated

Everyone simps for Kafka, and I get it, but Blade's is the best trailer Hoyo has ever done. The visuals, the music... It's too good. Between that and his trial, I went from skipping him to needing to pull him. He's my Silver Wolf. Seemed super tryhard edgelordy and after the trailer and especially the Jingliu quest was a complete 180.

Remember when Kafka invented classical music

even i am very exited about ruan mei, but i think kafka trailer is still the best trailer. the music, the vibe, the animation, the colour grade, and the voice line is too perfect for me

I really like jingliu's trailer. Not everything has to be upbeat or fast. Shes a very sorrowful pained character bound by old promises struck with mara. Shes suffering every step of the way, only this tone fits her right. I dont know, maybe i just have an odd preference for slower more emotional character based dilemmas rather than fast paced but that is why jingliu has my favorite trailer not to mention the astetic. Also if anyone sees this my i ask what flower that is that jingliu wears

I feel that intro on a spiritual level. I woke up, literally still crust in my eyes, and that was the first thing I saw on my phone. Shot up in bed.

I didn't get the Jing Yuan hype until the Phantylia fight when he started talking mad shit in the middle of the fight. "Are we still ants to you, Phantylia? All this effort to crush us and met with so little success!" Jing Yuan isn't a character I want to use, I just want him on the sidelines of every bossfight, heckling the boss with his amazing voice.

Kafkas Trailer is amazing, not only because its Kafka but because they used the song "Winter" its a German classic song and very well known, and fits so good with kafka

The guitar-like instrument is 'Ruan', and the flower is 'Mei'. Both are very classy icons in Chinese culture. Also, the name has same pronunciation with 'proteolytic enzyme' in Chinese.

Out of all of them i love Topaz the most. Her trailer shows her doing her job and collecting debts. It also includes alot of other characters and its topped off with amazing music "youre about to lose. Elio told me." I love the stellaron hunters so much XD

My favourite is still Seele's. It's the first limited character teaser, and it still gives a standard character a major part to play. Love that it displayed the teamwork of our favourite Skirmish Sisters. Bronie's had a lot of nice little touches as nods to more classic games, and of course, I had the 'oh no they didn't' reaction to her playing herself. She even has an _HI3_ style victory screen. I would rank Himeko higher and Luocha's lower. There doesn't have to be a lot going on in a trailer, as long as it carries significance, and Luocha's poses more questions than it answers. I would also put Bailu's lower since there's so much water reference even though there IS no Water-type DMG in the game. It'd take much longer, but I think you should rank the _HI3_ PVs if you can. While they tend to get better over time, there're obviously some that get more care, and the styles of APHO Ch2, Part 1 Finale, Return to Nagazora, and Part 2 Sneak Peak are huge shifts stylistically.

Honestly I hope we'll get another reaction with the penacony update

I gotta confess that i have a bias towards Topaz's trailer because it was the one that indirectly got me into the game, there were many HSR trailers randomly appearing every time i clicked on a youtube video and i always skipped them but that specific trailer piqued my interest about the game and is the only one that i didn't skip, then i watched more HSR content out of curiosity and i started playing like 3 weeks ago

Well SU story isn't quite memorable (doesn't help that it's just text) And lightcone it's quite easy to miss if you don't care about the image

When I first saw Topaz in-game, she didn't quite give me the vibe, she looked like an ordinary girl witthth a pet. Now that I've watched her trailer... I love her so muchh. And yes, I'm new player.

She right about Dan Heng trailer, I’m bias to Dan Heng but his trailer was decent because of the other two trailer that developers created. And his animated character trailer was amazing that it beats his average looking trailer. I wouldn’t put as mid though I would’ve put it okay . The one that was mid for me was Serval 😅
