    It is not true to say you need holes in the pan. I've successfully made CCF with a pan without holes.

    Some more questions. For corn starch, you say one tea spoon but when I look the amount in your small dish It seem to be one tablespoon full. So in reality what this should be? Thanks in advance.

    Doesn't matter which side. The diluted batter is to close the pours/holes in the cloth so it doesn't stick to it

    there is special kind of clothes for cooking , the clothes is water proof and won't leak , also hong kong chee cheng fun has no filling .

    I am not certain if she was teaching us how to make Chee Cheong Fun or trying to put us off making it... what a messy procedure! Try the Vietnamese style... much more simple and just as good. The most important thing is the rice/tapioca flour combination and the amount of water used to produce the mixture.

    Holes are needed for rice batter to cook, i would recommend skip the cloth and just pour batter on pan directly

    Yes, instead of drilled hole tray. Just use plate and steam. Pour ur batter and wait it cook.

    Dear good living it a nice recipe but I like to know wheather this is a raw rice powder or steamed rice powder, as r. rice makes a little harder and steamed rice makes a little more softer.
