Looks wonderful!! Thank you for posting!!
I made this last night for dinner, and my family loved it. It was very easy and the sauce was delicious. I made it with rice and cabbage. The sauce went very well with the rice. Thanks for the video. I will make this again.
Just made this on a whim last night. I’ve never even used an instant pot before and it turned out perfect. Such an easy and delicious recipe thanks for sharing!
Definitely one to try! Thanks!
Looks delicious! I am going to attempt this tonight.
Awesome video! I'm going to try this tonight. Semper Fi!
Making this keto with ChocZero honey and swerve brown. My chicken skin stuck horrible to the bottom 😮 so next time I will brown in a separate pan. I used a little ginger stevia to deglaze so I wouldn’t get the burn notice. Probably 3 tbls. Next time I won’t add the sugar and I’ll add a little bit more garlic. I can’t handle spicy but I might try a little Korean ground pepper to balance out so much sweet even without the teaspoon of granulated sweetener. What I use is only 70% as sweet as sugar so it shouldn’t have come out the sweet. You didn’t say how much Ginger so I only put 3/4 teaspoon in, it can definitely use a lot more. All in all a good base recipe, thanks
Made this for a quick light dinner after a heavy late lunch. Was great, will make again.
Trying this out Ryt now as we speak! I just got my pressure cooker xl for Xmas yesterday and couldn’t wait to put it to use... 7 more minutes to go!
I made this and my family loved it. My husband just came home from work and said. I bought chicken thighs so you can make that good chicken over rice. I knew just what he was talking about lol. Making again tomorrow. 😊
I like the way you added the ginger… nice
Great recipe! Semper fi!
Can't wait to try it. Looks tasty!
I'm making this right now as we speak!! Can't wait for it to finish cooking!
My IP has helped me so much. Going to be making this in a couple minutes.
That looks delicious! You have a very pleasant personality. Thanks for the video! Subscribed!
Just got a instapot for Xmas and this was my first recipe. A winner! My husband and kids loved it, it will be on regular rotation. Thank you
very good, i made it last night :D thank you for the quick recipe!
I've noticed if you use an old fashioned pressure cooker instead of an instapot, you need to add more liquid than is recommended for instapot recipes. I'm still rocking the regular pressure cooker.
Excellent and easy!🙂
I wanna try this ❤
Good video! I like how you get straight to the point. I’m from KC, not grilling or smoking is frowned upon. I’m cooking for one, it’s to much trouble. It looks amazing. I’m a new fan😊
I love chicken thighs. Definitely will give this a try.
Haven’t made it yet but you bet I’m gunna make it tonight man that looks good
I am making this tonight!

I'm doing fine. One thing I thought came out well was smoking a medium size pork butt for 4 hours, then throwing it in the pressure cooker for 30 min to finish. Not a firm bark, but the flavor was there

New to using pressure cookers but I want to try this but when you go to pressure cook it what temp do you set it to or just hit pressure cook and set for 12 min?
Umm.... Yes please!!

@@NoHippieBBQCooking oh OK, good
If you do it this way you have to fight with the sauté the whole time. Takes way too long to brown the chicken this way and it sticks to the bottom killing the skin. Pressure cook FIRST for 12-15 mins then switch lids and broil for 7 mins to crisp the skin. Crispy skin tender inside, zero hassle less work

Where did you get your instapot? I cannot wait to make this tonight!

I think a company sent it to me
Can you do legs instead?
Question: would it be better to sauté the skin side down afterwards so it’s crunchy? Would that work?
@lzh3131
Жыл бұрын
It might stick to the bottom of the pot, then the dreaded burn notice. Skin side down allows the juices from the skin to keep the skinless side from sticking.
Differently going to try this, how much ground ginger was that?

That's what I wanted to know. Have you made it yet? If so how much ginger did you use?
Hi, In the video you add ginger which is not included in the written instructions. Any reason for doing so? Thank you 🙂
I need to try that finished product looked great, plus it looked simple to make. What is your experience with the cooker, as far as holding up. I got one did 2 cooks and it was no good it would not pressurize. It was in the circuit board I was impressed with the couple things I made but I'm curious how well it will hold up for, I have slow cooker I've had for over 20 yrs.

John Knapp I've had my instant pot for 4-5 years, plenty of pressure cooking pots before then. Aside from the gasket, which you might want to replace every once in a while, it works great.

@@PicklesBBQandCooking Thanks It seems like a must have, properly prepared you can have whole meal with very little effort, and time saver over braising something. Thanks Pickles
how much ginger?
looks like the instapot has a lot more going for it than an airfryer, would you recommend upgrading? thanks buddy

The ninja that came out a while back does both
I would love to hear your exact measurements - because I don’t have “some” measuring cups lol
You have a soy substitute?
I'm not sure I'd eat the steamed skin, you're far braver than me, no doubt it adds a ton of flavor, though.

It wasn't quite the same as rubbery chicken skin since it was seared before cooking

This may be a silly question, but a pressure cooker and a crock pot are different? Because that chicken was cooked really quickly.
