RECIPE:
6 eggs (room temp)
3-3.5 cups of flour
1tsp Vanilla
Honey (for struffoli)
Confectioners Sugar (for bow ties)
Combine eggs, add vanilla, last gradually mix flour. Mix until forms a ball. Knead quickly. Once smooth, place in bowl, cover, and rest for 30-40min.
To make stuffoli honey balls: cut sections and roll into thickness of pencil, cut into smaller sections (to your desired liking), add to hot oil. Remove from oil when golden. Top with honey once cooled! ENJOY!
To make bow ties: Use pasta machine to make long thin strips, stopping around 5 (can make thinner if desired). Cut thin strips into smaller strips and tie into knots. Fry same way as honey balls. Top with confectioners sugar once cooled. ENJOY!
