Hey, I haven't left a KZread comment in years but I wanted to say your room looks really amazing! It's what made me click your video. Also, a lot of work environments have some people who kind of abuse their power, act condescending or superior. It's sad but if you know you didn't do anything wrong then there is no reason for you to feel bad. Customer service jobs can be really rough too, so if you think you would feel more comfortable at another job then go for it! It's not worth it to stay if they don't treat you well enough and the job stresses you out regularly

It sucks they spoke to you that way, unfortunately there are a lot of coarse people in this world. It could be because they're miserable and want to take it out on someone that can't do anything back. I would try not to pay them any mind (easier said than done.) In time you'll grow thicker skin and not care as much. Retail is notorious for being understaffed because of how razor thin the margins are. You can only do your best, help out when you can but don't make it a habit because they'll expect it. Remember they'll replace you in a heartbeat so always look out for yourself!

@@sleepyhunter there's a couple things that shouldve been a red flag when I first started like a couple days in and she already asked me to come in on a day off I was supposed to have and I stupidly said yes, I'm learning to be more firm on leaving on time :p

I honestly hate how much ppl treat ppl who aren’t trained/don’t typically do certain things in their job, like I don’t know how to explain it but like ppl who are mean to new ppl or ppl who weren’t trained on certain things, really get on my nerves cause there’s literally no reason to be rude to them Also the thing about the scheduled time, I definitely agree because I once had a job that would only pay your scheduled time so if you were scheduled til 5 and you stayed until 5:11 doing something that the manager asked, typically you wouldn’t get paid for it, and the kicker is that a manager would have an attitude cause I would ask in advance what she wanted me to do, before I leave, it’s like they wanted us to stay longer or something idk but it’s ridiculous 🤷🏾‍♀️😭 But honestly all the ridiculousness is why I’m so hard on my job, like for instance when I call in, I’m not asking, I’m telling them or when I use to tell them not to schedule me on specific days cause I can’t come in, I just wouldn’t come in on those days if they scheduled me, cause we had a talk about it and they blatantly acted like they didn’t have a frontal lobe so🤷🏾‍♀️ but I heavily feel like they’d do stuff like that on purpose I think to test ppl to see how much they get away with if you know what I mean Lol sorry for the long comment/vent, i just feel like I relate to this so much❤

That's what I assumed but then fast forward a day or two later she was getting a bit rude with one of my other coworkers, I'm starting to get the type of person she is but I don't directly work with her all day so I will try not to let her bother me too much

@@zammyzambie Even if it were your fault she shouldn't have jumped on someone whose only been there for 2 months anyways. Mistakes happen. In your case it wasn't even your fault and you did everything you were supposed to do. You shouldn't be penalized or punished for it, I'd bring it up to a supervisor for that shift in case if anything does happen when you return.

@@zammyzambie If you do end up leaving, I guess just try and find somewhere with better management. Also pretty sure you aint supposed to work off the clock anyways - or at least that's the way it is at Macy's but I assume it's similar at a lot of retail stores.
