Hi Lisa , I've been watching you now for about a year when I was researching using EA's for trading as I've struggled with the emotional side of manual forex. You have been so candid with your content and the realities of life whilst venturing into the unknown, that its so refreshing. I am also a mother albeit much older than probably most of your viewers at 56 years old ! And feel that this is my time to just try and do other ( less traditional) things to hopefully create a future income . Petko, yourself and SIC have been inspirational for me to keep chipping away at something that was completely beyond my experience . Good luck to you Lisa! I have 3 self developed EAs all tested and working in the markets. Just need decent capital allocation now to make a living. Got a few Darwinx Zero accounts and 4 prop firm challenges on the go. Hopefully in a few years I will be able to follow you and quit my job and spend my free time as I wish.

I believe you made the right decision. I also quit my regular job to do forex trading. Not just with robots, but manual trading as well. Learnt it for 2 years nearly. Need a change, my job isn't going to get me the things I need. Freedom and more money. Nealy watched all your videos Lisa and honestly wish you success. I'm sure you will be fine :)

I’m doing the same, working part time with cash reserves. Basically break even through 9-5 money. Coding strategies and now learning manual strategies too now since I have the time. Should look at manual strategies. If u get a good mentor I’m sure they will help u out for context like some type of 0 to hero series u could do

Lisa , I am sure you have made a good decision and with your analytical skills have coded in all the permutations. As far as being "old" and starting out with a non Data phone, that doesnt cut it. After spending a bunch of money on prop firms, getting funded, and not getting paid out, I'm no longer taking prop firm challenges : kzread.info/dash/bejne/o2Wapdl-qtvIhKw.html

I quit a day time job to focus on algo trading and prop firms. Got an evening job instead, sometimes I get to work from home . So have not quit working entirely, I don't need that type of anxiety. I hope to go full time by end of 2025 . It is not uncommon for prop traders, who trade out of an arcade paying desk fees etc, to have an evening job, I watched a video from Axia Futures on that topic .

I honestly have neglected my xrading account. Time to take another look at it, now that my 9-5 is clear.

Congrats! However I wanted to ask you if you saved enough just in case. They say at least one to two years of savings that could pay the bills so you have a cushion and don't get as emotional when losing days happen and they are guaranteed to happen. All the best and God bless!

Yeah, the viewers aren't dumb. Forex channels receive good rpms and great earnings for referring them to forex products. The choice to go full time on this is because she's making enough on the non trading side to justify going full time. I know the goal is to earn full time as a trader, but its fairly low risk because of what KZread and the affiliate earnings pay.
