After watching the entire video, I have to say: pace yourself this year, Dari. Do the things you can realistically accomplish without heading toward mental and bodily breakdown. You cannot accomplish much if you are feeling stressed, unwell, and so sad and depressed as you were at times last year. Your health must take top priority. Slow down and (like Bob from the movie "What About Bob?") take a few relaxing baby steps forward along the way, rather than huge leaps. Remember... you are only 25 and you still have time to travel many paths, to search and explore your life and career options. I would hate to see you burn out too soon. Be well! ❤

Thank you for providing a very entertaining 2023 through your videos. Outsiders perspective, you’re crushing life with the normal ups and downs that we each must face. Your path in life is full of adventures, wonderful memories, and ultimately a successful career. For your age, you are what every parent dreams of for what their children will turn out to be. You have such a good heart, combined with your brains and determination, there’s no stopping you. You will look back one day and remember all the struggles that helped form you to be a model citizen and entrepreneur. The quality of your videos from years ago are a real testament to your dedication to improving and not settling for mediocre. You are loved by all your supporters, kudos to all that you do!

I love your passion. You are so driven. It's okay to experience setbacks. Learn from them and keep moving. Abraham Lincoln was defeated for state legislature in 1832, started and failed in business in 1833, his fiancée died in 1835, had nervous breakdown in 1836, lost election for speaker in 1838, lost election for congress in 1843, lost another election in 1848, was turned down for a job as land officer in 1849, lost election for US senate in 1854, lost his bid to be vice president of the US in 1856, lost another election for US senate in 1858. BUT THEN, he was elected president of the United States of America in 1860. NEVER GIVE UP!!

Dari I have a daughter and son that are about your age. You would be my middle child. But I want to say that I can really relate to your struggles and doubts because most young people your age experience the same emotions. You impress me as super determined and focused. You make up your mind about things and go for them. And even though they don't all work out you gain some valuable experiences in the process. Your videos are an inspiration to me and others. You are a good example of someone who tries hard and never gives up. You could have easily given up on your dream to study and find an inclusive scholarship. But you didn't and now here you are having this wonderful experience of living and studying in NYC. Also, I am so happy to hear that your studies have gone well this semester. During my college years back in the 90's I also took accounting and struggled with it. But here again you prove that you never give up and are willing to work hard to achieve success. For sure your KZread channel will reach 100K. Maybe this year or next but you are a great storyteller and a lovely and interesting person. I love to hear about your country and your travels. I wish you much success and happiness in 2024. Blessings to you and your family and friends. ♣

We love you Dari, your content is Amazing and keep it up. I am prior military US, you will find many ups and downs in life. Dont EVER let a negative experience define who you are, who you are meant to be. They are learning experiences that you grow on and make you stronger. Dont ever let the "what ifs" determine your future, let the positive, laughs, smiles and real friends guide you, not become you. I dont know if you will understand me. You are young, I have 2 dau, 20 and 25, life is hard yes, but take everything you experience and use it to your benefit. Dont let others distract you on your quest for happiness. Good experiences make life easy, bad experiences make us wise. I got to travel and saw many different cultures and countries but most was during war and not peace, yet everywhere I went at war or not people had love and compassion I think so many of us today are afraid to show this. Love you and everything you do and I really hope youll find more and more great and wonderful experiences in your life. Always here for you, Matt

For me, in my mid-70s, you are an exemplar of the best that "the younger generation" has to offer society. Also, I see you as a role model showing others that each person should be judged on his or her merits, and not on nationality.

I really respect your willingness to talk about your life in a realistic way with all of your trials and your achievements. You must have a workable work/life balance. There are times in everyone's life when priorities change and you may have to change or focus on fewer efforts than you may want to. I have heard you talk about all the different things you are involved with and you are doing so many amazing things. But sometimes you need to focus on yourself and the immediate situations that will help you succeed in the future. Education and a degree like you mentioned in the comments will provide you with a backup plan. I had thought about a plan to combine your travel with work as a digital nomad sometime in the future. I do hope you get to travel the States, I have been to all the continental ones and you are right it is an amazing country with so many things to admire. I was born in the US about 70 years ago and as soon as I retired we sold everything and moved to Portugal to become citizens there as we wanted to explore Europe and have new adventures there. I admire your video work, I first saw you on one of Natasha's sites and was impressed with your insight and it seems that your videos have improved a lot over the years. Please be alert, aware, and be safe. I am sure you will achieve your goals. Best wishes for your continued success! I will continue to watch your channel for as long as you keep it open

16:25 You can't handle a channel that big at this time, though. To keep it profitable, you would have to post steady content that kept the audience engaged, and you see how much stress and work that is with 30,000 of us who don't mind if you disappear for awhile as long as we know you're alright. Let it grow organically until you graduate. That's my advice, anyway. Sorry about the breakdown and your dog's precarious health, but I'm glad that you're both doing better! Dari..it seems u worry too much? Life is about trial and error. There is a learning to curve to everything. U have been doing an exceptional job getting out of Russia, getting to NYNY as well as graduating from every point in between. I think u mentioned being in an MBA class, also. How incredible that u have been able to successfully tackle so much. Some folks just have it but most don't as they grow complacent in the place they are and never take advantage of a rising tide. They become caught in the shallows of life, forevermore. I am happy for u. I am certain of your future as becoming even more amazing and successful.

Thank you for sharing your life and adventures with us. I've been following you for a couple of years, and I really enjoy your videos! When I was in my early twenties, this was the most stressful time of my life. This was true for my friends and family members as well. Things got worse when I started to have panic attacks. I did not understand why, but I attributed it to stress and anxiety and uncertainty. I'm not a psychologist, but I have since found out that even though our bodies are finished growing by age 18 or so, our brains continue to develop until about age 25 or so. It's undergoing some kind of transition, and it might have to do with maturing. We are learning to be adults and preparing to face the real world. We are not as irrational and impulsive as when we were younger. Again, I'm not a psychologist, but it's something to think about.

Wow, Dari, you have done and seen so much this past year-- it's incredible, really! I love that you have goals and a vision board. I'm sure you will do some wonderful things in 2024! Try though to not look at things not done as failures (as you mentioned), because you routinely accomplish more than most people, in my opinion. You are so smart and tenacious-- you never stop trying... I can only see an overall upward trajectory! Best wishes to you!!

Relatable. We had to move out of our much beloved former home due to taxes this year and that "look" you showed a photo of was my "look" also. Like 1/2 my hair fell out and we got ripped off by a degenerate handyman as we were trying to build our new place. We've been living in a not-complete cabin for months, though we are grateful to be settled. Anyway, I really can relate and am so impressed that you handled the accounting class even though everything was tough. I really believe 2024 is going to be better.

Happy New Year! I watch any content you and Natasha make. I would gladly suggest but I have no idea how you do it. Personally, if I had a vlog, I'd spend 11 months to figur out a topic and make one vlog a year. I guess I am curious in general but I don't think I am any interesting. I guess that's why I can watch vlogs but I can't make one. On the other hand, well, I have been worried for you in 2023. You must have lived under an enormous mental pressure. Again, I have absolute no clue how you manage to make it all. I have told you before. Rest and relax but you're running a vlog along your personal life. Well, I promise I will keep watching your vlog. All the Best for 2024, Dari!

@@DariStep I think I know what you mean. Personally it's not only the content that appeal to me. Add your autenticy, ethics, honesty, decency, charisma + that you're both clever and smart. I think I can say that you're a good human being. It makes it comforting to follow you. I wish all the best for you in life, hence I like to get your updates. I think you're doing fairly well despite at times a challenging 2023. I bet, if ever that occure, and you're tired or just want to stay under your blanket at home, you could make an interesting vlog on how and why. That is also about autenticy. You did already post vlogs being tired, crying and all that. You don't need to respond. You put lots of effort in your vlog like it is. I felt for respond to what you said. A funny image comes to my mind. Imagine your followers were your cheerleaders with dassels, dancing, kicking and singing your name D-A-D-A-R-I! D-A-R-I STEP! Yaaaaay!

I'm so pleased to see your year turned out so much more positively after such difficulty throughout the first part of the year. One thing I heard that helped me greatly was this: Stretch your arms fully out to your left and right. Now turn as far as you can to the left and then the right. This is all you have control over. Live in your "1 meter world" and control what you can. This concept helped me to let go of anxiety over things out of my control. I hope it may be helpful to you. You've done so much. Struggled so hard and come so far. I commend your determination and think it should be an inspiration to others. I close hoping this year is a very happy, healthy and prosperous one for you, Dari!

Life is about goals. Some that are attainable and some just out of reach to keep you motivated. It's good you are only posting every other week because your studies are the most important here. Your channel is just fine. There are so many KZread videos to watch. I am your mothers age so from an elder outlook you have done very well and have plenty of time to do more. Don't get down, just keep going. I had an invitation to a prestigious show this year. I spent 2 months straight working my regular job, getting 5 hours of sleep a day and working on the project. Then drove 1600 miles from my home in Central Pennsylvania to Chicago. When I got back there was an accident in my family that took up 3 more weeks of little sleep. Finally slept 16 hours, New Years Eve. You are doing great. Keep the grades up and healthy. The rest will fall into place. Because of you I have been able to see Europe. A beautiful continent I can only dream of seeing because my wife's health is not good. You have brought your viewers to many special places. Great work Dasha

Dari, I always get exited when I see you uploaded a video. You have a sparkling personality. Some serious moments. I don't want to prescribe to you what I want to see. I'm seeing the world through your eyes - exactly how I want it! Glad the vet attended to your dog. I had pets in my life. When they die it's horrible!! I swear I wont get another pet. Then my son come home with a beautiful bundle. A cat. It was his cat and he had to take care of her. Then he left home to stay and work in London, then the cat became mine. She got really old. She was 18 years old. Tears and heartbroken! Not again. I sold my house and am renting a flat - no pets allowed. When it's not that cold, jog in the park - always alert of your surroundings.🤣🤣🤣 Lots of love from my house to your 'house' 🥰🥰😍😍

Pets teach us of mortality. All of my pets died, including the cat 🐈 left behind by my son who moved out to his own apartment to be close to his workplace. She actually lived longer than your cat did. In her last few years, my son told me that she was acting like a human rather than a cat because she would stare at us instead of looking away to avoid confrontation [between carnivores according to my son].

Thanks for sharing. You will do great. It's good you have so many dreams and you try to pursue them. But maybe don't judge yourself so hard on what you have not achieved but more on what you have. You have achieved more than most ppl your age and you will keep doing great. I think it's is absolutely incredible that you have received a scholarship for an American University and you are killing these studies. Really many congratulations for that. Having lived in NY in the past myself, I would be most interested in videos of how you are experiencing living in NY now. How does the environment feel. How are ppl towards you. What business opportunities do you see for yourself? Just everyday small experiences you have in your neighborhood, on campus. You might not realize it or see the significance of it. But historically it is a really interesting time for you to be in the USA as a Russian. I had a friend back in the 80s from Russia and at the time tensions were also quite high with the USA. But still they welcomed him then and it seems they welcome you now. This is actually quite extraordinary. There are so many interesting stories in this constellation already. If you could do more on this subject, that would be so interesting.
