Except Transformers had some really compelling cartoons ( my favs are g1, beast wars/machines, armarda, animated and prime) and the 2003 and 2012 versions of TMNT are pretty great. Power rangers is more of a nostalgia thing for me now though

Transformers actually has a really good plot tho(for most continuations) and each series has its own charm. The franchise is great and littered with great characters each having their own unique personality and motives.

You really missed an opportunity for introducing the new Red, Black, and Yellow Rangers. “Adam, the Black Ranger who isn’t black; Aisha, the Yellow Ranger who isn’t Asian; and Rocky, the Red Ranger who isn’t Jason.”

They weren’t introduced in the film. They became ranger in November of 1994, halfway through the second season. The movie came out like a month after the second season ended in June of 1995. The new rangers had already been in like 30 episodes by that point.

Not for me. Even as a kid I thought the CGI looked so fake and wished they would've just used practical effects like they've always done. They did it for the power rangers turbo movie. To bad turbo was crap though.

Nobody is the same person they were in 1995, we've all had 22 years of new experiences since then. (Hopefully none of us are still in middle school / high school...) People change, people grow up, people sometimes hate things they loved as kids. Tried watching Big Bad Beetle Borgs episode a couple months ago, turned it off about 10 mins in. Utterly nonsensical / ridiculous / stupid. That said, some things hold up better than others (Thundercats and various other 80's 'toons, for instance)...

Taylor Simpson i watched this movie so many times when i was a kid and my sister throw the cd away because she's getting sick watching it..

I was 7 when this came out. And thinking about that time I thought that movie was awesome. And cgi looks bad but at the time many us thought ps1 graphics were amazing. Today I would probably laugh at how bad it actually is but I think I will keep the good memories it brought me as a kid along with the show.

Regarding the merchandising, the original power Zords were actually cool af- the fact that you could connect them all together to make the Megazord just like in the show was mind blowing to ten year old me and even now I’m still impressed with the design of the toy.

The Primal Earth -Dinosaurs, science, and more! From what has been said, they were originally going to do models and suits, but with having to restart the film multiple times (with changing Dulcea's actress multiple times and then having to film all the suited scenes twice, possibly more since they were falling apart) they didn't have time to make a proper Zord battle so the CG we got was not only last minute but on the cheap (since the movie went WAY overbudget) as well.

you mock it but the Kiai (random yells) are an important part of most hand to hand martial arts. by exhaling in such a rapid manor you let all the air out of your lungs, this prevents you from being winded should your momentum be used against you. we yell instead of exhale however because it allows more air to leave in a much more controlable manor. not to mention a jerking motion can interrupt your breathing, whilst it will likely not interrupt a yell. there is another reason, however, that we yell in hand to hand combat. this is a very simple one. yelling in your opponents face may make them flinch, increasing the odds of your attack landing successfully.

Tommy and kimberly never ended up together, Kim broke with him... by a letter. seriously, worst break up ever

Trini, the yellow ranger, was the one who died. She died after MMPR ended too. I believe the actress died around the same time as JDF's brother, and that's why JDF had to miss her funeral.

Lord Death I've never watched a full teen titans go episode but my little brother always watches it and from what I can tell it's actually not bad (it has the same voice actors). It's just more comedy oriented

"You loved the Power Rangers when you were a kid." -- Actually, the Power Rangers debuted when I was 18 and a freshmen in college. Despite being technically an adult, I was addicted to the show like a 10 year old. Over two decades later, and I'm still watching the show. LOL

My favourite thing to remember from Power Rnagers is that literally everthing they just slightly touch explodes :D

Mike Solas Too bad the writers of this episode didn’t watch season 2 of MMPR, because they don’t recognise Rocky, Adam, and the one who briefly moved in with Kimberly, and chose a cat with her that turned out to be a Kat, then there’s the part of the video where the subtitles don’t match what’s being said, for example, “I’m a frog,” apparently sounds like “I’m a fraud.”

As strange as it sounds, yes. I only had crushes for people I actually know since then. As for Amy, someone once told me she got killed in an accident and I felt sad, I was 8. That friend of mine was joking.

Honestly, no matter how many bad CGI moments there is in the movie. This is still one of my favorite movies of all time. *Its Morphin Time!*

Yep. Never saw the movie though, but the thing I love about power rangers is just how it's like the only kids show that kids of the 90's and kids of the 00's can actually talk about together. Seriously between 2005 and 1999 so many shows were cancelled so us people who in our mid to late teens now didnut have the shows that those of the 90's had, unlike power rangers and scooby doo, and a decent number of other shows like,e spongebob, etc

I have been salty about this movie since it’s release. I was devastated when Zach, Trini, and Jason left. The fact they made a movie and they were not included killed my child heart. Guess that’s what happens when you started watching from day 1.

The actor came out of the closet a few years later and some people are shitheads. The actors in The Wizard of Oz treated Judy Garland like complete garbage, too. The only one to show her any friendship was Margaret Hamilton.

Still one off my fav kid film of all time and I can’t wait for to get abit older that him can watch it power ranger for life

Ei-Ya was literally like what I said before I opened a Capri sun at lunch I was a huge rangers fan, just behind TMNT, my favorite ninja fighting based children’s show

Even as a kid I questioned why they were doing flips every where lol

Ivan Ooze was still way more intimidating than that shitty Apocalypse we got last year.

A year later and I am still angry about apocalypse. it's alright to mess up a b-league villain; no one gives a shit. but apocalypse is one of the most iconic villains in x-men! we didn't get apocalypse; we got the costume designer's deviantart OG character.
