Funny thing is is that Hank Pym (OG Ant-Man) created Ultron in the comics, but Hollywood decided to use the other already popular genius (Stark) to create Ultron which makes sense from a movie audience standpoint so I think it's funny they call Pym Tony Stark Sr. in this lol...

Apart from the inconsistencies such as his mass doesn't change when he shrinks and stuff regarding the tank still weighing like 60 tons, yet he doesn't break anything or when jumping due to pressure of a huge mass on tiny surface areas, or the fact that antman would of formed a black hole after getting smaller than his schwarzschild radius, and the fact he can't get smaller than an atom itself as the shit only shortens distances between atoms, even though he did in the film and the fact that even he did shrink down smaller, you cant see anything as you're smaller than the wave length of visible light yet he still say everything including colour fine, I'd say this film was pretty scientifically correct

Unshaved Malevolence ehhh not really. On the last movie fights one of the fighters picked it for most overrated superhero movie. It has an average score of 6.8/10 on RT and a score of 64 on Metacritic. Its an ok movie. But the comedy was way overdone and all the three side characters didn't fit, their explanation for not getting the avengers involved didn't make total sense and logically Scott would not have been the best choice to be ant man and my god was the villain horrible and of course we have another cliché forced romance and another forgettable female character who is basically just another version of black widow with no unique personality.

To be honest, I thought he was going a Batman and Lex Luthor route, like the suit-stealing thing happened in one the comics or something (because while I haven't seen the movies yet, I'm pretty sure that didn't happen and won't). Otherwise, that described their relationship pretty accurately right? Bruce may not be a scientist but he (and Alfred?) designs his suits, so...

I’d like to point out that Hawkeye is like the second best martial artist in the mcu behind Captain America. They don’t portray it well in the movies but Hawkeye is a brilliant martial artist who eventually became Ronin after training under Cap

You forgot to mention how this movie sparked a debate about whether or not you can shrink a real size (real weighted) military tank . Thus, reducing the weight so much you could keep it in your pocket.

Ant-Man was very funny. It was cool that they made a comedy movie instead of trying to churn out a serious or dark film. A great family film that you could actually watch with your whole family and not feel embarrassed about. (Unless you dressed up as Ant-Man in the cinema to see it).

I think in the end it all comes down to the character himself. I mean hell, ''Batman'' is a ridiculous name and we all love him. If the character is good, we can look past the name. :P

If things maintain their mass when they shrink how can an ant carry Paul Rudd? How can that old guy's pants carry a tank?

+SuperUnhappyman Because poor planning and stupid overlooking of basic science concepts. I would have enjoyed this movie so much more if the science had been better. And it totally could have been done too! Marvel makes millions of dollars with every movie they release, they can absolutely pay for a science adviser.

Eh when it comes down to it, Any super hero movie is going to be majorly flawed when it comes to the science and realism. Better to not even question it. Same goes for action movies etc. Look at pacific rim... I'll be honest that one was the hardest to ignore the bullshit concepts and failed science... But if u were able to.. It was then enjoyable.

Disposable Marvel villain #9? What? So, I counted and there's: Obadiah Stane, That forgettable guy with a bird, Laufey, Red Skull, Aldrich Killian, Malekith, Alexander Pierce, Rohan, and Ultron. That makes Yellowjacket the 10th disposable Marvel Villain.

Alexander Pierce was a great villain and definitely not disposable

Marvel proved ones again that they can do a movie with a racoon and a talking tree, an ant-man or something similar while DC couldn't do a movie about an alien "god"! (I didn't like Man of Steel so much, I hope that B v S will be better, Superman as a character though, is cool) :-) I loved Ant-Man!!! :-D

So the best thing you Marvel fanboys can do is to compare the first movie of DCCU against the 12 movies of MCU? hahaha man I can't believe how ignorant and childish someone can be. Why don't ypu compare The Dark Knight trilogy to the whole MCU? I think everyone knows why.And to finish I will tell you only one thing. You know this saying:"calm before the storm"? I guess you do. So, Marvel is the calm and DC is the storm so i suggest to you to have an "umbrella".

Surprisingly, Ant Man was the first MCU movie that I thoroughly enjoyed the whole way since Iron Man. This movie wasn't trying to be funny and serious at the same time like every other MCU movie.

I laughed when Anthony died cause of how they focused on the wing. Anyways, it was pretty obvious that Anthony was going to die right when it was named.

Marvel choosing projects on a dare that got me

Ant-Man is on my top 5 favorite marvel heroes list. And, not gonna lie, if it wasn't for him, the Avengers would have lost in Endgame. He went from a guy who's name people laughed at to a guy who helped defeat Thanos.

Considering this got green lit, I'm waiting for Marvel to green light a Squirrel Girl movie. Hell Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn wants to direct it.

+steeltimberwolf Yeah, I can sort of see Disney/Pixar/Marvel doing a Squirrel Girl 3D animated movie for kids & their parents. All the elements are there; funny girl with squirrel teeth and tail, and lots & lots of cutesy little squirrels, doing superhero stuff and saving the day from evil grumpy villains.

I wish they tied Hank Pym to Age of Ultron, where Stark and Banner found Hank Pym's blue prints and codes to Ultron's creation back in the 80s but it was never executed until now, so technically Hank did create Ultron but the two other guys updated and launched Ultron.

I know it gets kind of a bad rap since it's premise is kinda silly, but it's actually a pretty good movie! And yeah that's literally the first thing he suggests when he hears the plan. Honestly, Paul Rudd made this movie awesome.

Man, this whole commenting-under-every-video thing I'm doing just to get the Highlander Honest Trailer made is such a wild ride through the last 10ish years of cinema. I have no regrets.

So the movie's explanation for the ant magic is that they're controlled by their olfactory glands... is that not the thing in the nose that makes snot? Do ants even have that?

Nerve center, not glands. It's operating under the assumption that ants communicate using smell, and that by stimulating the part of the brain responsible for smell he can effectively control them.
