Reading all these comment are sad, I was looking at Talons, but hearing about Hondas customer service sounds awful. I went with a KRX, figured its slower but they make superchargers for them now, ill probably slap one on a few years down the line, most of our riding is crawling anyways. Kawasaki customer service has been fantastic for my 2 buds that have KRXs. Never had issues getting things taken care of under warranty. The dealer probably matters too. There are definitely dealers who just straight up don't want to out forth effort.

Sorry to hear about your wife getting the COVID I hope that everything clears up soon. You’ve got a hell of a machine and I’m glad you got the trans fixed in it as well.

I’m in KS as well. Looking to purchase one soon. Or get on the waiting list for one.

My 22 talon just started doing this this week and it’s starting to feel like it’s a common issue

I use Power Director also. What issues are you having? I'll dig up my rendering settings and post them here when I get a chance. What version of Power Director are you using? I bought a pre-scratched 2019 last year and have been enjoying it in the Arizona desert. Glad to hear you got yours fixed.

I’m running the latest version. Just won’t upload to KZread, have to save it on my desktop then upload though KZread.

I have a 2017 ponieer 1000. doing the same thing. in my opinion honda should recall this and fix them all

I agree, luckily mine was covered under warranty.

Same thing just happened to my Talon. Bought it a month ago, only has 17hrs and 137 miles and Honda just denied the warranty. No modifications to the machine. I'm pissed! Can't even get Honda to call me back. Horrible customer service.

Find another dealer

My buddies 2019 R has been in the shop 2 times now for same exact issue. Honda fuhked him ovee kept the machine for 8 month till he was out of his warrenty. Same time making payments the whole time. Got it back and went out again in 2 weeks. We are gonna rebuild it our selves the dealerships are stealerships. Horrible experince. Not an Issue on my 2020 4 seater

So what was the bill going to be I know it was covered under warranty but I’m just curious as to what the shop was gonna charge

The Dealer told me that my warranty is only one year. How many months b4 u had the tranny problem?

But the talon has a real transmission and is more reliable.
