Going from a 28” tire to a 32” tire should give you about a 15% increase at the top. Your top end should be around 85 mph now. Your take off will suffer some but your top end will see a gain. Thanks for sharing.

Flags and kids hat 👍thanks for the video. For those saying you gain top end with taller tires, they are correct unless you don't have the power to overcome the mass. A heavier tire requires more horsepower/torque to spin them at the upper end.

Heavy tires impact acceleration, but have nearly zero impact on top speed.

You gain top end with a taller tire your speedometer may say less but your actually going faster than you was on stock tires. If anything a bigger tire would rob your bottom end.

You are absolutely correct. A buddy of mine explained it to me after the video, I don’t know why I thought it was the other way around 🤷🏽‍♂️

If you want a good sound system check out wet box. They have a down firing 12inch subwoofer enclosure for under the drivers seat and much better enclosures for door speakers.

Thanks! You’re going to love it. Is this your first side by side or are you coming from a different one? Winch & fender flares came right off eBay. The flares are mud busters XL, and the winch I think was a viper.

This is what I used… amzn.to/4bCjDGB They don’t sit flush on the skins because the skins aren’t flat. You’ll need to fill in the voids for sound quality. I used foam filler and silicone.

@@srt8charger982 nope, no cutting needed. It’s been a few years since I installed them so it’s possible they changed the design. I do remember having to fight them in to make it work, but it was definitely possible. It was tight, but I was able to make it work!

Ok yea they made them so much bigger only way to fit them in would have to cut there huge they look like they would be for 8inch speakers instead of 6.5 I’m going to return them and go with different brand to see if I can fit them thanks for quick reply I love your videos

32" tires work well with stock suspension ? I just picked up a 2021 Talon X. The stock tires look too small, but I was thinking I could only go to 30".

You can’t fix 32”s on an X model without forward a arms. It can be done though! Stock suspension works great, other than the stiffness. I will probably upgrade to shock therapy sometime soon, but just for a plusher ride.

1:10 Are you looking at your top speed according to the speedo or GPS? If speedo, you probably didn't loose any speed, and possibly gained.

Yeah I said that wrong. Moving to a larger tire I should have gained top end and lost a little on the low end. Definitely worth it though, 32”s are what belongs on this machine IMO

@@GarzaGangAdventuresI have the same model tires but in 31". They were near new take-offs, I think from a Kawasaki, and I got them dirt cheap. I have nothing to compare them to, but I can't imagine anything working better in all the terrain I ride.

I’m pretty happy with it stock. I think it’s the perfect amount of “throaty”. Can’t really comment on any “gains”, as I installed it along with the 32”s, so there was some power loss there. Plus, it’s only a slip on. They claim a 5hp gain, but I’m skeptical about those numbers. That being said, I’ve heard good things about the Hess tune. I’d love to check out the results first hand!

Yeah that Jackson Turbo is a joke. I put twin STS turbos on my 2004 Ram 1500 4x4 hemi quad cab for $6K. It came with stainless steel duel exhaust with X pipe and the tune. So $6K for a single turbo and about 2’ of exhaust for the same price. Yeah no think you.

@@GarzaGangAdventures I want one pretty bad myself. But like you $6k is just unreasonable. On my 2004 HEMI Ram truck I had true duel 2.5” exhaust with X pipe that equaled to about 20’ of stainless steel pipe. I had twin STS turbos turned up to 8 PSIs of boost. I was laying down 630 HP to the wheels in a 4x4 Quad Cab HEMI 1500 Truck. I had a 4” lift and 34” tires. The turbos added just over 300 HP. Jackson Racing wants $6k for a single turbo and about 2’ of exhaust that adds about 60 HP. LoL!!! In all honesty if they sold it between $1500 - $2000 they would probably sell. It’s been 3 years sense the turbo has been out for the Talon. The only place I see them is on KZread. I go riding on average 1 weekend a month in different states. A group of us get together and head out to just where ever and spend the weekend riding. I have a 2019 Honda Talon 1000 R and have done this sense the day I bought it. We went out every weekend end for awhile. So in 3 years, I have yet to see a turbo on a Talon in person. That should say something because everybody flocks around my Talon and we all ways have the same conversation about the Jackson Turbo. Way overpriced!!! They are telling me that even $1500-$2000 is overpriced. They are telling me $500-$1000 would be more realistic. I don’t know. I just know I’ll never pay $6k for a Turbo in a SxS. On the Polaris Razor turbo vs none turbo there is only a $800 difference.

That’s my thoughts exactly. These things are like harleys, anything marketed towards them are ridiculously overpriced. All accessories, but especially that turbo. If it were priced at 2k or under, I’d already have it installed. I absolutely refuse to pay 6k for it. It’s just downright unreasonable. I know there’s a ton of research and development that goes into it, but still. Just not worth it at that price point. I’m hoping that the price will come down sometime in the future, but that may just be wishful thinking!

@@GarzaGangAdventures yeah I’d have one to at around $2k or less. Me and a few friends in my group. With the amount of Talon owners that I know in my group and the people that I have met out riding with Talons that want the turbo keeps falling back at that $1500 - $2k price. I would say Jackson is loosing around $80k - $100k. That’s just the people I know. If you know roughly around 20 people or so yourself that would be around $160k - $200k Jackson is loosing. We did a Talon ride in Davis Oklahoma last year at “ Cross Bar “ with about 40 Talon owners. That was awesome!!! Nothing but Honda Talons. Guess what. Not a single turbo on any of those units. Everyone wants one in that $2k and under but not $6k. Well Jackson just lost out on $80K that Saturday. We all pitched in $100 each in a bucket and who ever was the biggest daredevil won the pot. A man and his wife won from Glen Rose, Texas I think. We all hollered it’s turbo time!!! He said nope. We getting a gear reduction from Reduction Boss. ( 25% Gear Reduction ) so i don’t think it’s because people don’t have the money, they just like you and I feel it’s way overpriced. People are not stupid. Well maybe some are. LoL!!

I agree 100%. I do really think it’s a bad decision price wise from JR. They could sell so many of them if it were just priced better. 2k is fair. Many people are ok with that price point, which means they would sell quite a few. They are pricing themselves out of the market. There are lots of people who technically could afford, yet refuse to do so. I just don’t see 6k in value in it, as much as I really DO want a turbo. There are lots of other people that feel the same way. It’s really a shame too, I’d love to see what this talon would be like with one!
