I'm a 82 year old Toyota man but I've never owned a Honda. However, I rate them to be cars that will do 500,000 miles with proper care and would not hesitate to own one. I really enjoy your videos and sincerely appreciate the time and effort you put into them. Americans should thank you Scotty.

Ev is temporary Honda and Toyota know this. Ev is fairly new, and while ALOT of owners are having battery problems, there isn't enough on the road to cause an uproar to faze it out yet.

That has to be the best explanation of the VTEC and the new Honda engine I have ever heard. Another great video Scotty.

48 years old and I love both Honda and Toyota. They make the best power train's there is. And will outlast the chassis. If they're maintained properly. I've never had any problems. Out of any of them I ever owned.

I love the 1.8 that was in my 2008 Honda Civic. I would've kept that coupe if I hadn't promised it to my son. That car had enough oomph for me. I also love the 2.4 that is in my wife's 2009 CRV. It has 180,000 miles on it & and is still going strong.

I currently have 2 hondas and 2 Toyotas. Over the years I've always just had these two car makers. I can say that hondas handle better.... But I love reliability and I find them both incredibly reliable. Both makers are easy to work on. Its a draw for me.

I work at the factory building the new engine, and actually the whole new Pilot. I do various processes required to put it together. The new design is easier to build, that much I know. Thanks for doing this video.

I’m 51 year man, always owned a Honda Si. I loved the Vtec and enjoyed the screaming high rpm’s. I now own a 10th gen civic Si. Absolutely love it.

I’m a proud owner of a 2006 Honda S2000. Words cannot describe the way the car makes the driver feel. Pure joy and highest smiles per gallon is the closet description and I absolutely LOVE it(201k miles).

I have the best of both worlds: A 2003 Acura TL Type S with a 3.2-liter VTEC V6 and a 2004 Toyota 4Runner Sport with a 4.7-liter V8. I bought both vehicles new and haven't had any problems with either.

I can't believe how intricate and detailed your videos are. I too was a 30+ year mechanic who recently retired., though I still take care of my own car. I find that all of your videos are truthful, accurate and fun to watch, as I still love to learn about cars and machinery.

Scotty, Love your videos, very educational. I own a 2007 Honda Pilot and I have no regrets. I recently purchased a 2022 Honda Accord Touring and I am really enjoying the 2.0 engine. It really has some get up and go. The only thing I dislike about the Pilot is the rubber timing belt!
