    There are inexpensive bolt on mods this bike is obviously lacking. Should've been in the 165 -175hp range. No need to go inside the motor unless you're looking to venture into the 200 hp range..and that's just a matter of good head work and accompanying cams and of course 💵💵💵

  • @bacchusthompson5834

    @bacchusthompson5834

    4 жыл бұрын

    Yep... the ECU was still restricted. The Flash is going to make more power anyway simply because you can't change Ignition Timing with just a PC-V. If the ECU is flashed, all of the "Restrictions" are permanently removed. All the PC-V is doing is supplying the AFR & Mapping in conjunction with the AFR & Mapping that's programmed into the ECU (fine tuning). If you "0" the PC-V, at that point you're running strictly the AFR & Mapping programmed in from the Flash.

    @@sc63sr20det let me guess, you own a Honda and your salty about chris moore posting up shitty numbers. Even chris moores says in his other video "NO TWO DYNOS WILL READ THE SAME NUMBERS". Andi know this because my bike, when it was stock, put down 151 on a dyno here locally and 173 on another dyno in Tampa. The bike was setup exactly the same .

    On a honda, 1000 miles isnt even really broke in. You are probably only making 90% of the power it will make after you get about 3000 on it. Hondas take a while to get their bearings and pistons worn in. I been riding the absolute shit out of mine, going through back tires and gas like crazy. At 10,000 miles its just now starting to feel like its making full power. It pulls way harder at 10k miles then it did at 2k. I kinda suspect this bike hasnt been riden alot yet, and the guy is thinking its like other bikes where they get best dyno numbers around 500 miles. Hondas take alot of miles and hard acceleration to get broke in right. It also looks like his bike is burning oil a bit, which further seems to indicate this bike isnt broke in correctly. (Ive seen hondas with 20k miles on them, slow as shit, because the owner never rode her hard, and the motor never got honed in correctly at high rpms.

    The 08-10's are known for burning oil and it wouldn't surprise me the 11-16's are the same way since the motor didn't change drastically. It's luck of the draw if it does or does not burn oil. Mine doesn't but the two other guys I know that have the same model as mine do burn. Ones a fresher rebuild and eats oil like cake the other needs topped off every 2k or so

  • @rhinof2048

    This one certainly dyno'd weak asf. There's several key mods not mentioned that should've been done prior to flashing this bike. For comparison, my 08 CBR1000RR (with only bolt ons) just dyno'd nearly 170 hp on a dyno known for reading lower than most in the area. This guys bike needs help and it's not just tire slippage.
