These RSX/Integras suffer from Intake/exhaust flow restrictions from factory, it always better to improve the flow and exit flow and tune it right to run it at it's Peak performance.

No shit, lighter is better. Like the philosophy of Lotus. Then we tune the fucking shit out of it and try to make it even lighter. 500-800hp in a light car, yeee haw!

Said it before say it again. I love my FK8 it's handling, performance, sublime gearbox. But the sound of that VTEC, is just mind blowing. Artificial pops and bangs in modern day cars, no thanks. V8 and VTEC, yes please.

“Artifical” pops and bangs? Idk about “artificial”, but tuning maps that create excessive and usually nonstop deceleration backfiring for purely sound purposes, aesthetic reasons, etc. absolutely annoy me personally. And that’s not even getting into the negative physical reasons why engines shouldn’t be running like that all the time.

The great thing about the K20A is that it has a light rod, piston combo which enables it to be rev happy at the cost of lower torque figures and I think that's what makes it a fun car.

Agreed, although lighter pistons and rods by themselves won't cause the engine to make less torque. The engine's torque curve is a function of intake design, exhaust design, cam specs, head flow, bore diameter, stroke length, timing, etc.

Brilliant video bud, could tell you where genuinely impressed by the dc5 😎 big Honda enthusiast myself , owned five dc2s and loads of eg civics , crx etc. Finally bought my dream Honda last year, fresh import fd2 civic type r , if you ever get the chance drive one, it’s a step up from the dc5 but both amazing machines in their own right . Enjoyed the video , and for a Honda video it’s weird seeing so much positivity in the comment section lol, usually get a lot of jokes and hate etc lol. Torque in this car isn't in the low rev range this honda makes power above 6k till around 9k when most rivals are out of ideas by 7k the integras truly is a masterpiece from Japan engineering

Nice car. Got one myself here in Belgium.. A black one spec c. Tuning setup as Almost the same. (intake jdm password, rbc manifould, bloxracing throttle body) Exept i still have my kat. But from kat till eind mugen twinloop exaust. Computer is dictronic.. Hp Around 245 hp. Suspension allso mugen. :) I still get surpriced how fast it is :) Never gonne sell my one!!

We got the DC2 integra type-R in the netherlands from "96 "98 with the b18 engine. But those are very rare, few have survived. I last saw one from an enthusiast for sale, really clean nice documented maintained car, asking 15.0000 € for it.

That car was also sold in the United States and Camada as the Acura RSX. Sport model was a type S only Japan got the type R badge for that car.

I always wanted one of these and still after all these years, but they are hard to find in decent shape.

Je possède une DC5R importé du Japon. J'ai un B-pipe Spoon + Sppon N1 et un CAI AEM c'est vraiment terrible. Aujourd'hui c'est une voiture qui paraît ridicule en puissance mais la tenue de route et les sensations ne se retrouve pas ailleurs c'est incroyable.

Going from daily driving a 500hp mustang and then getting a Mk7 Golf with 220hp I realize that power isn’t everything. You can have just as much fun pushing a mid 200hp sports car that’s fairly light. There’s plenty of power at low speeds and going in and out of corners.
