Looks like CB350 is the way to go. Ride and handling, fuel economy, traction control, lighter weight and the exhaust note

I've bought the CB and am quiet happy with it. The only problem in my opinion is the frequent gear shifts at lower speeds

Last point that he made was bang on. It's buying experience and after sales and service. Honda 350 is not available in every city. I couldn't even get a test ride. Finally booked Meteor 350.

I got 40 on highway bro... I have stellar black Meteor 350... Its good... My uncle has Honda Highness, now he is sad about his decision of choosing Highness over Meteor...

The cruiser feel of the meteor is accentuated more on the supernova varient which has both the windscreen as well as the backrest and more chrome elements . Fireball gives quite a neo retro upright feel IMO unless off course you sit on it.

Major reason why I didn't go for the CB: Requires constant gearshifts and I wasn't sure about the aftersales experience. However, I absolutely love how the bike performs, looks, LED lights... and ofcourse the price!

Well done Rohit👍 And yes, CB350 from the looks to performance to sound to handling looks like a complete and dominant winner. Meteor 350, despite the hype built by RE through paid media, just falls short from looks to sound to just about everything.

Yeah look at powerdrift. They are trying hard to downplay CB350 and promote Meteor. Meteor looks like cross between Thunderbird and Avenger and the fake media outlets are trying to hail its design as the next best thing. Lol.

Nothing better then OVERDRIVE review.. i choose Honda... Going to book one today.

Even if there is one Honda Big wing in one city then also it will be wise to go for Honda purely for the quality and peace of mind. There are rare occasions when Honda vehicles develop a fault "out of the blue" if regular servicing/maintenance is done. With RE's nothing is guaranteed even with the best of care and timely service, one can ask any RE owner. One turns out half mechanic and constantly doing some kind of "Jugaad" to come out of an unpleasant situation on rides.

His review is better than many 👌👌

RE classic is timeless design. It fits best in the 4 scenario described by u. The other one could be the Meteor 350 with it's matching classic looks.

Honda have made bad desicion on selling its bike only on big wing dealerships specially when you have direct competition with royal enfield 350..... Royal enfield showrooms are on every city despite comparing the honda big wing showrooms which aren't.

Classic 350 fits the most places, but the best Classic 350 available right now is sold through BigWing showrooms. So wait another quarter for the latest Classic 350

Finally yesterday take delivery Honda H'ness CB 350

Of all the bikes here, I STILL love the looks of Classic. Its a decade old design and STILL LOOKS SOO DAMN AWESOME P.S. I love only the design of classic 350 :P

Am a meteor Fan but Look wise Classic 350 got no comparison! Best in it's class! Waiting for its new version with the meteor engine ❤️

What I think? I think that a non Indian national presenter would've been slightly less biased. All else being equal I'm a fan of Honda's quality. I'm getting the CB 350 when I return to Vietnam in the fall.

CB350 H'ness has my vote. Happy to exchange my RE for CB350 if any RE fan is interested.

Actually RE is bought for its vibrations. When you sit on it and turn on the ingnition the vibrations connects you with it. May in long ride u get back ache but 90% of bikes are sold for its name sound and it's vibration or simply to say for daily small commute . Am not a RE fan but it's the fact. I booked meteor because I am from those 10% people left who buy RE . 😂 Nice review well done 👍

I have test ride both the bikes Honda CB350 is a good bike but when it comes to comfort its Meteor 350 witch Impressed me a lot and with the service network RE has it will have better access. I wish Honda could have Introduce CB350 in Red Wing it would have changed the game. But it's good to have CB350 now as RES tough rival witch has made RE do even better.

The Imperiale just released here in the Philippines, however, news are starting to emerge about quality issues like, center stand grinding the chain, improper installation of the side stand being extended way too much that the unit is leaning dangerously to the side, failed batteries and other electrical issues. Benelli of course is quick to address these issues with quick repairs, unit replacement and even outright refunds but issues like these really hurt product performance because, ideally, you’d want an almost perfect product launch. It seems Benelli still has a quite a lot to do if it wants to compete with the likes of Royal Enfield.

I'm an Enfield fan from the day I rode a Bullet 500.. I'll always go to the highways on an Enfield..Bikes will come and go but the Enfield will shine forever..

I recommend Bullet Standard because you will never ride speeds upwards of 120 all the time, unless you are a highway freak. Keep it moving between 90 and 100 kmph, with the thump and comfort, and at a substantially lower price compared to these, an all-metal, no-frills truly classic design, it truly is value for money; looks stunning to say the least.

Finally!!!!! One would assume that Honda denying the motorbike would have affected the verdict but I am happy that OD remained unbiased regardless. I havent ridden the CB350 but I own a Honda and the lack of bottom end torque can be quite annoying. I think Honda largely favor top end in almost all their petrol engines. Though the no of service point for Honda are in lower single digits, its unlikely to break down. But TBH if i was shopping in this segment, I would wait for the classic 350 or whatever they would end up calling it and then decide. That would probably appeal to a larger audience, or a scrambler/commuter/naked variant like the one that was spotted on test.

Nah man. Look at the specs, the engines are identical in terms of displacement, bore and stroke length, compression ratio and SOHC. The Honda even makes more power and torque at a lower RPM than the RE. 21PS at 5500RPM vs 20PS at 6100RPM. 30NM at 3000RPM vs 27NM at 4000RPM. It's purely the gearing and sprockets that are leading to the difference.

@@pranavp386 well swapping sprocket would probably improve bottom end at the cost of a bit of top speed. Then both th 350s may have a similar top speed. Honda may still be marginally higher.

Honda anyday over RE when it comes to Engine quality.
