Hey Stephen, Is there a physical lockout preventing you from going into reverse or do you just have to be really careful going into 6th?

Was there any shim or clearance checks needed when changing this 1 gear?

I always find myself reaching for the sixth gear on the highway. How did he handle the reverse lockout?

I wish all of us some luck with actually getting even a ballpark, on the total installation cost. I've asked nearly everyone, that posts about the 6th gear addition. Silence across the board. 🤷

What’s the Cost to do this? Did you do a lockout so it has no way to mis shift into reverse?

Dude I need this so badly. I got mine for safety and practicality, but I'm finding the mileage pretty bad at highway speeds.

Yeah it’s definitely not the best so far I am pretty happy with the upgrade. I am excited to do my first long road trip soon to see how she handles.

Just curious if this would be possible in n '05 (4 speed) Element?

If would take a lot of work because your element is an auto. Better to sell your element and rebuy a manual one

The 06 auto has a 5 speed which was the first year they offered that upgrade. So you have the best version of auto out there nice job 👍

What vehicle did the 6 speed come out of? I would like to see you Put a limited slip front and rear in the same vehicle.❤❤😊

Its a turd gear. I did it. It's nice to keep RPM's down, but you def have to downshift to tackle any hills, even just long inclines.

Yeah I haven’t really done any long drives just yet but I made it to lax & back with 20 mpg with all my gear up top pretty happy about it
