Excellent, however I guess the most important UPGRADE needed for this vehicle among others, particularly the engine K-24 is to figure how to prevent the POS Vtec oil pressure switch fails so often .

I agree, lot of time is the connector getting corrosion or damage due to the location. It to close to the exhaust manifold reason why the sensor has a heat shield. The connector will damage.

I bought three months ago this gorgeous 03 Element EX for my daughter, 135k , one owner, I have replaced the VTEC pressure switch 5 times!😡 I haven’t try yet the OEM because the ridiculous price at “stealership” ,however I even disassembled the sensor to check the “complexity” of such SENSOR….already dissembled the conector and hooked the naked wires straight to the sensor (switch) connectors and so far haven’t fail yet after 2k miles …thanks for all those advices , my daughter love the car and so far it’s the ONLY problem with the car .

OEM Vtec or nothing, it's the best and worth the price, I've never used anything else and always positive results - With five replacements you could have bought at least one OEM Vtec...\m/

@@64arguzyeah unfortunately anything to do with the vtec oem is the way to go. You probably already spent more replacing the piece if it were oem

Usually recommended piston is below the hydraulic cylinder for these struts to help preserve the seal. Easier for dust/grit to collect on seal when facing upwards.
