Honda City mileage test in high RPM vs low RPM | Does RPM effects mileage ?? Demo and test result

Hello
In this video I drove with high RPM for short run as well as in low RPM in same route. Just to conclude with reference on mileage. Does high RPM or low RPM effects mileage. This test proves it and by showing this mileage test I am just doing it for experiment.
Please dont judge my driving with short drive and mileage etc etc. If I can male difference in short run than there would be alot difference in multiples of 100 KMs drive.

You are saying correct. I too on Honda City. I just had done a tour of 350 km. I drive my car with low RPM. What a mileage of 19.7 km

meri honda city 2011 model sirf 25000km chali hai. bechne ka mann ni karta kyunki car ki build quality better hai current honda city sey.Aur sedan sedan hi hoti hai.
I had been to Gujarat once, approx. 500 kms return journey...my honda city 2011 model just gave me the mileage of max 10kmpl. I was almost at 80kmph on the NH with an rpm of 2.5 to 3 at 5th gear....i don't know what the issue here..

Please check these point or get it checked. 1. If engine oil is not changed since 5000km or 6months, drain it and change with 5w30 or honda idemitsu. 2. Clutch assembly. 3. Air filter. 4. Tyre pressure (it may not differ this much in mileage). 5. If you have accelerated more say above or around 4000rpm. Then there are high chances of mileage drop, coz above 4000 or at 4500 ivtec gets activated which boost engine power and to get more power fuel burns more in combustion chamber. ** Did you reset the trip meter before checking this? If not than its incorrect.

What is the minimum speed for fifth gear without any damage to the engine

When you are driving on 5th gear your car should be ideally above 50kmph. Below this can harm gear.

Around 2k to 3k rpm when acceleration. And release accelerator completely when shifting gears. Sometimes you may pull upto higher RPM for engine smoothness and that helps in blow out carbon deposit in engine.
