    You can open up the oil feed when you install a high pressure pump,but I know your keeping it’s totally standard!👍 I couldn’t ever do this😃

    I hear you and understand what you are saying but for me this bike had to be as close to factory as i could get it nowadays. I am working (very slowly) on a ST70 DAX which i will be modifying very slightly which will have oil cooler and oil pump, cheers for the positive comments, all the best..

    Great mechanical and video instruction. Thank you Sir for taking the time to explain in such great detail. My bike is 1971 Honda CT70 4-speed with manual clutch. I have completed rebuilding the bike and will be working the engine next.

    Thanks for the comment, appreciated. I will be doing one soon on my ST70 which is very similar to your CT70 (which is well worth a restoration such a lovely bike you have), but centring on kick start slip and how the clutch works as there are so many inaccurate explanations of how the clutch works and why the kick start slips on youtube. Then I dare say there will be an overview restoration video of the complete ST70 but not as detailed as the CF70 vids. All the best, hope your bike brings you as much joy as mine does. 👍

    @@TinkerBod did you ever get round to a ST70 video?

    Yes and no. I have some video done on the ST70 which will not be released yet as i dont think their is enough content. We are moving house and everything has stopped since July when the workshop got filled with house moving boxes, hence the lack of videos. It is coming but im not sure when, regards.....

    As long as it was very very fine that would work, I have always preferred the stone method and if far out Engineers blue and a surface table with Tungsten scraper but this would only be for larger castings.

    At minute 53:36, I see that you put black tape on the crankshaft on the flywheel side, why is that?

  • @TinkerBod

    @TinkerBod

    Sorry for delay, the tape was to stop the woodruff key falling into the engine while it was on its side for the video that's all.
