Hi - I have a early CF70 in yellow also -just over 2k miles - should I restore or leave as is - not in bad condition but needs some TLC. You have done a fabulous job - top marks

D Beckett you need to be careful, what is it for? is it a show and shine, daily, sunday bike or if its not that bad then dont touch it, if you have watched all of my videos on this bike then you will see she was a wreck there was no option for me, but people can go too far a loose the meaning or history of the bike when all it needs is a little love. Have you got the time and funds to spank on a bike just to make it look better and dont start a project half hearted because you will be throwing money away. You need to way up what the bike means to you and what you want it to be, use as many original parts as you can and use it, dont not use it, they are a hoot to ride, bit slow, but great fun. 👍👍

@@TinkerBod i have the alloy wheel set from kepspeed, are the nuts and bolts that go on the hub special sizes or standard ?

They were standard 8mm ones on mine, purchased the exact ones to take the bike back to original though.
