Protip for Sport Bike noobs: If you are intimidated by a supersport style seating position and are scared of putting pressure on your wrists over long distance riding, the tip is to not grab the handlebar tightly with your palms but instead just mildly hold onto it while you grip the tank with your thighs for support instead. In other words, don't support your bodyweight on your wrists, use your thigh to grip yourself onto the bike which eases off pressure from your hands.

A cheater pad off the back panel in the small of your back works wonders for fun and comfort. All you need to do is figure out the thickness and density that makes you feel best and it's cheep enough to try a few of em till you find your happy spot with enough wiggle room to cruise in comfort or a bit of stunting. It's he best of both worlds that I've shown to some of my younger riders and once they tried mine (after signing a liability waiver with a cash bond) :) Have put them on within the following run and have thanked me more then once...

Some folks can only "Spout" industry speak....because they lack imagination, want to seem "Expert" etc. Others speak their mind, to their friends or audience and can also explain extemporaneously with some comedy thrown in! Well done Mr. Fish! You did it again by your mentioning "Steering" a bike with the rear wheel. This makes perfect sense to me! And being a former (And all important "X-pert" ; ) ) when it comes to bicycles etc. this is a great way to explain a given motos purpose etc.! Very well stated and is definitely a part of how a design group approaches "How" a bike is going to be ridden! Sometimes having courage is just the willingness to speak your mind and exploring what you may or may not know! Often, you show the world that you "knew" the whole time! Cheers!

I'll be picking up my brand new CB650R on Wednesday next week and I was looking at the forecast. It's gonna be light rain. I'm a bit nervous about riding a brand-new bike with fresh tyres in the wet but seeing you go around those bends like that gives me some confidence that I can cruise around town slowly without too much trouble. Hopefully we will have some clear sky and dry roads so I can properly scrub in the tyres and have a bit of fun.

We may have a (pre-Mayflower) common ancestor. I also have a CRF250F and I just picked up a 2018 CBR650F ABS for a first-in-30-years bike. I wanted to see for sure what I was missing by getting the earlier version. I'd like to know what those little daggers are for hanging off the edge of the windscreen. Great review. Especially nice heads-up riding at 28:47 - that would be me (doing a rolling right turn) if I came to the UK. At 5'7" & 14.25 stone, the bike seems to fit me well enough. I really wanted the looks of the sporty CBR until I clarified the insurance quote; by then it was too late. I may succumb to my more practical side just to be better insured at some point (full coverage + uninsured motorist = $400us on the CB and $2k+(!) for the CBR - per year. I went without the uninsured coverage for $1k.

Enquanto existirem somente a CBR e Ninja 650, não faz sentido algum a Honda trazer essa All NEW CBR. Uma pena.

Sweet looking bike a bit too new and shiny for it to be a first bike for me though :( Still going to get a Ninja 650 unless by the time i get my license i can pick one up for the right price.

Beautiful bike😍😍😍😍. I'm glad that it has the Fireblade styling which the previous model was a bit bland looking yet not attractive. However, this one really caught my attention, its just so beautiful😍😍😍. If I wanna buy this bike, I would go for the naked version due the ease of riding the bike and naked bikes always been my favourite😊😊😊. Not sure shall I go for the bikes like MT07, Ninja 650 or SV650 or choose this bike instead. I always love inline 4 bikes but people always tell me its not suitable for riding in the city and advice me to go for bikes with 2 cylinder like those I mention. So, what's you opinion sir? Shall I go for inline 4 or 2 cylinder bikes?

@Bunnyshooter 223 I will get the Honda over the other parellel twins. This is the only 650cc inline 4 available while others are 2 cylinder. I love inline 4 bikes. They sound like sports car and I could listen to that sound daily as it really made my heart wanna race😎😎😎🏍️🏍️🏍️. I will save up to get this beauty. This new 650R really made me fall in love with her. I will get her when the day has come. Yes the Honda might be expensive but I feel worthwhile to get it due to being the only 650cc inline 4. Well, have a good day dear sir😊😊😊
