    Bro ... I am planning to buy a bike ... Himalayan 411 2023 or Honda CB 350rs ... I like both. Bikes ... Which one is better option... What's your suggestion?

  • @secondopinion89

    Hey thanks for view and comment. I can only share my real world experience of my own bike and wouldn't want to sway your decision. I didn't go for the Himalayan only because of the posture and the earlier model had lots of heat from the engine to the leg which was a deal breaker. A brief test ride around the block won't give you the real picture so I'd say take both bikes on rent (if available) or borrow them and then decide which nature suits your riding style as both have different riding stances.

    I don't claim to be an expert in all the RE. All I can say is, this bike has great Honda's built quality, reliability and a bit sportier than the other competitors. If you're going for a more classic look, try the Hness or classic350.

    It's wife-approved! That's why I choose this even over the narrow seat of the Meteor. Only thing is it has to have a backrest. After that, pillion is sorted.

    Hi... do check out my first ownership review of the bike which was mostly based on my city rides. This bike has excellent handling with great weight distribution and low end torque making it worth the CB tag. I'd highly recommend it as a daily commuter. Only problem is at bumper to bumper low speeds, you have to stay on first gear (below 20kmph) at times giving the bike a jerky feeling.

    Hey how is the mud splash from the back tyre? Is there too much mud splash on the back seat / pillion? And how much of a drop in power comes up if you ride with a pillion?

  • @secondopinion89

    @secondopinion89

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi! Do check out my ownership review to hear about some of the pros and cons of the bike. Mud splash is a huge issue but ever since I've got the backrest with a fairly long carrier, it's been better. I'm still resisting getting a back mud guard. The bike has enough pulling power even with pillon. The drop in power is less noticeable than say on my previous less than 150cc bike. As I commented in the video, it hit 131km with pillion.

  • @shashank0710

    Thanks!! Yes I did see your video on the pros and cons.. but was very curious to know your view in depth as an owner about the mud splash because that's the only thing that is an obstacle for me to buy this bike.. i presume if you are able to ride with pillion without a mudguard, then rear mud splash presumably wouldn't be a big issue.. I'm going by that experience of yours.. thank you for your reply :)

  • @secondopinion89

    @@shashank0710 Either way on this bike, you'll need a front extender and either a back tyre hugger or the long carrier like mine. With any of those, even more mildly wet surface, the mud will splash all over the pillion's back. Cheers!
