vtec doesnt work anymore on my civic si 2007, changed VVT solenoid and the 2 sensors, still doenst work. guess its the timing chain or something like that

If still having same issues after replacing the sensors, most likely it is the advanced timing chain

@@mydiygarage update, wasnt working for like 1 month and it randomly started working 2 days ago. vtec popping like never and engine light is off lol

​@@glizzyrewind6570 yes i had that code, but my car didnt want to start up a morning, like 3 on 4 cylinders was working. ignition coil symptoms so i changed them, same thing. After trying to start the car many time my distribution just broke. So it was the timing chain since the beginin. hopefully only the distribution is damaged and not the motor.

Yeah, it’s best to replace both of them. I still haven’t done it because the code went away on its own but I’m actually about to do it right now just because why not I guess

This engine is L4 Cyls I don't know why he says bank 1 and bank 2

is it possible that i get this code after changing the starter? cuz my car was fine and no code was on before changing it thank you in advance !

Similar situation for me. Replaced the starter, and about 30 miles later I get this code. The engine sound fine.

Why you didn’t show how to get bank 2 out of

so title says cams shaft but in the video u said crank shaft ?? just lmk if i should be as confused as i am rn

I'm having same code on a 2009 honda accord replaced both cam seniors and I tt sensor same code popping up

No, my car was just fine. If still have the same symptoms, it may be an advanced timing chain

Not if you disconnect the battery 1st

How many camshaft position sensor. We have to change in Acura and Honda.

I’m confused bank one sensor A is the cam shaft sensor but you are saying it’s the crankshaft sensor I’m confused can you clarify the location of both Cam and crankshaft sensors and which one is sensor A and which one is sensor B?

crankshaft sensor is by the passenger side wheel , the ones he showed are camshaft position a & b
