It's very nice, but would never get past the planning authorities in the UK as is. Why? There's nothing to stop smoke from a fire getting into the bedroom at night. You'd need to add a door at the top of the stairs and a glass wall overlooking the living room. Add those, plus the required smoke alarm and the owner has a chance to wake up and get out before being suffocated.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge but this kind of house is fine here in the Philippines. A smoke alarm is not required in tiny or small houses here. This is an open-type loft house. If you think you don't have privacy in this kind of house, you can simply enclose the loft with a door at the top of the staircase. Thank you. 😊

The house is fabulous my only concern is no upstairs bathroom,so if you need to pee in the middle of the night it’s not quite comfortable.,need to go down and up again..😂😂😂

Thank you. I don't get it why a person would always pee at night. If you don't wanna pee at night, don't drink water a couple of hours before bedtime. Your sleep is supposed to be sound and interrupted. I can't relate to that because I don't pee at night. Sorry. Hehe.

When you're a younger person, you can get by without having to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. When you get older, that becomes more difficult to do, for a variety of reasons. I know from experience. 😬
