What to do when chickens eat eggs. Make sure that the poultry has good access to an absorbable source of calcium (we don't need to mention constant access to water and feed). It's also a good idea to give eggshells (in powdered form) to the hens. Remember that there are four to five hens per nest. ( 2 )

The nest should be about 20-40 centimeters above the ground, and you should also remember to cover it with straw. As we mentioned, among the causes of pecking eggs is the wrong time to collect them - after all, they can't lie for too long ( 3 )

The chickens need more calcium and will eat one eggs if nutrient deficiency exists. They are not being “bad” just need more calcium.

Hey Tacia! Love the video!! We usually fix the egg eating by adding more calcium and more protien. We started using Hi-Pro egg laying feed (by country companion I think?) and that usually stops the egg eating. It gets bad during molting season and this really helped them through it and the cold weather we have here in the Treasure valley of Idaho this winter. It almost looks like as much snow as you guys!! lol jk! Ceramic eggs are super helpful too, but like you said, they make the hens go broody lol. Aren't they so fun?!! I am trying to figure out what kind of hens I want this next hatching season coming up soon.

As always, you guys put out beautiful videos and the most perfect music. Who does the editing and who picks the music? Your trout looked perfect. When I cook trout I like to put thin sliced onion inside and wrap Hickory smoked bacon around it, cook it over an open fire or on a grill. Thanks for sharing

Hi John... thank you again. :) We both do the editing...Oli usually puts in all the footage and sets the story line and Tacia just comes behind and cleans up and does all the detail work. lol...Tacia grabs a bunch of music she likes from the internet and then we both pick from that music to go with the videos...and sometimes it is the longest part of everything. Its funny because it is the hardest part and we have had some people ask us to not have music at all. Sometimes we just have to have music because we feel it sets the mood I guess? We are DEFINITELY going to try some trout like that...sounds delicous!!!! Thank you so much for your support! I guess we owe you some cookies too? LOL...

Hello, I did some research and I believe (but could be mistaken) that you have to turn CC on from your side? I tested it and it worked... If you hit the square button on the top right corner with"CC" in it, they come on. I also watched a video that showed you could choose the language. Please correct me if we are mistaken as we want to figure this out! Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment!
