Welcome. In the scout way, light the stove with birch bark. It has essential oils in it and burns better than paper.

To help with the tree cutting you should grab up one of the Warn drill wench's like I grabbed up. It has saved me a few times out in the woods when I got my Tundra stuck. light weight and pretty dang strong. Get a block and tackle and you can easily pull a tree over.

That’s a good idea , thought about an old electric wench but thought for sure it’s going to be cold enough were I didn’t need it , but turned out the other way and sure could have been beneficial 😄, but thank you for the great tip 👍👍

Hi Oli, Nice job in the bedroom, Tacia is going to love it. Great video and music as always. You found some very nice trees to take down. With this weather, it makes it hard to run a snowmachine, let alone drag logs through the snow. How many acres do you have?

I'm sure it's enjoyable to be getting things done. Working during the winter is much better than fighting bugs in the summer, and you don't sweat as much, but 60 degrees is pretty warm for cutting down trees. Your cabin is looking great! Are you going to put clear varnish over the knotty pine?

Does the flow in your spring pick up in the summer? Ours lows a lot heavier than yours. I am hoping to find one a bit closer to the house this year. I see a few spots one could be but need to explore some. The sauna looks like it is going to be nice. We want to build one in a few years.

Hey guys, well the slowest water supply from the spring is always around April , as soon as it starts melting night and day it will pick up quiet a bit and comes summer we have 5 gallons in a about 40 sec. , a few years ago I worked on bringing several small springs into the biggest one and confined them into one , now it’s running really well and also super clear .
