Sourdough pancakes are the best! Only thing I'd highly discourage is using canola/vegetable oils that you recommend. They're highly inflammatory. Better option is avocado oil if you're buying the real deal pure! I've even used organic coconut oil and find it doesn't alter the taste. Thank you for the video!

Yes indeed! I've gotta condition and need to avoid the gmo, toxic, highly inflammatory seed oils. Avocado oil would work, and cook in bacon lard. Oh Yeah!

I never add yeast when I use sourdough starter. I agree that Canola or Vegetable are highly inflammatory.

Healthwise I agree. But KZread / celebrity chefs make the recipes with the best taste in mind, not the best health suggestions in mind 🙏

Sadly, the SAD (Standard American Diet) is one where everyone, almost everyone, including my wife, chooses convenience over health and nutrition. I thoroughly enjoy Natasha's recipes and adjust accordingly. That's all I'm going to say about this. I love ♥️Natasha♥️ and her work, I don't want to be a Debbie-downer.

I have been Craving for Pancakes for a few weeks. I love Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, and Sausage links and the Heavy drizzle of Maple Syrup that runs off the Pancakes to the Sausage and Eggs is Fantastic 👌 And I saw Sharky resting on the wire rack with a Fresh made Sourdough Pancake in His mouth 😋

The inside reminds me of the British Crumpets which are sold in some grocery stores. When you spread butter on the tops, it melts all the way through. They are so nice and spongy on the inside.

Perfectly okay to have hubby enjoy the pancakes. Why?....the 5 second rule. Meaning drop on floor and just pick up or place on the serving plate and serve or enjoy. Excellent looking pancakes. Of course mine never look so good. Thanks enjoyed.

I like simple maple syrup on my pancakes.
