Homemade oars finished | Secret boat motor!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I finished the homemade oars, with homage to the Indian Head company thanked all the oars I love SO much, I decided to make my own pair, and make a tutorial of how I did this so ANYONE can build these too if they want.

Thank you Peter, I’ve yet to use them but may get a chance to very soon.

Excellent, I have been shopping for oars. Hard to find old ones. New ones seem kinda poorly made! I may try this. Thanx for posting this.

Wait, do your oars slide in those oak locks? Doesn’t that wear off the poly? Why not drill through oar locks? My aluminum boat is 14’. Need to measure beam. What’s the relationship between the beam width and oar length? So many questions- too many You Rubes!

Hey, is that a Goodguys hoodie? I go to their car shows in Nashville. Too cool!

Yes, I’m a big Good Guys fan! I went to Nashville once almost 30 years ago at Christmas time. I drove to Belle Meade and saw Barbara Mandrell and Johnny Cash’s homes all lit up in lights, beautiful.
