Homemade Laminar Jumping Jet (Stream) with RGB

Ғылым және технология

This is my 100% Homemade Laminar Stream, istalled in my Garden. All is working continiusly full automatic, with several Programms created for day and Night mode. A light and a wind sensor is checking for safe running and day night mode. All can also controlled manually ba hand with a remote controll with over 30 bottons.
This is the most exiting thing i have ever donne. 1 1/2 Jear hard work and i spend a lot of monney.

By far the best homemade laminar fountain I have come across. I have wanted to do this for so long but I think the closest I will get will be to buy one! Fabulous work! Even the landscape design is beautiful!

You can tell easily here how blue light reflects and refracts so much better. This is why the ocean and pools look blue. Too cool.

I made two basic laminar jets for my pool that are just the laminar flow, no cutter, no LED lights. They work great for my first attempt. Thanks for your instructional videos. My next one may have the cutter and lights. But I think it is time to sit back and enjoy summer for now. I will add some video of my laminars to my youtube page when I shoot video and load it. When friends ask me where I got this idea, I show them your video. Thanks again.

Amazing! How do you get the stream to start and stop so suddenly? And what diameter hole are you using? I'm using a 16000 l/h pump with a 1/2 inch water exit and can't get good enough distance on the stream.

perfect. if you just slightly rework "target" area and there put another RGB LED, cutted stream will have same affect at the and as on the beginning. light will be not cutted at once, but will recede ;)

This is so inspirational! You should be proud. I'm putting in a Koi pond and want to install a jumping fountain like yours over my pond. You've obviously put in so much work to get it to this point. I really don't know where to begin with the RGB. Can you steer me at all with some reading material or have you posted an electrical schematic anywhere. You must have a solid electrical or programming background? Either way, I hope my finished product looks half as good as yours does.

Yes, its a company called Oase, the pump is a Neptun 5000. But you can use a smaller one, the pump is only about 1/3 open. The 3000 would be strong enough.

@canavarRo69 Hi, thank you, It took 1 1/2 year to develop from scratch and building and rebuilding it. Also you need a bunch of monney for a perfect full automated system with hi quality components. All self made. Cost me with all try and error around 6000 USD incl. the Stone Garden, incl the big Bubbling Stone. And many hundred of hours work. But every day i look outside, i am proud, enjoy it, its still working. *Sent you a PM* Cheers

You can Buy cheap systems from about 500 - 1000 USD on Ebay, more expensive but better from Oase company abot 3000 USD or the best of all, Wet Design about 5000 USD or more.

I want to know about LOW PASS FILTER. is top & bottom empty space are play a role of LOW PASS FILTER. what is air tank before leminar nozzle? Dear Sir I also tried for laminar, up to a extend I successes, but after a distance water spread. The low pass filter is eliminating the Pump Jitter. Its nothing more than a air thight thank, the beigger the better, water inlet is about on a third of the lenght, out bottom, the natural air inside will balance the water pressure. My one is about 600mm high, 200mm diameter or similar. Good luck
