Homemade Laminar Jumping Jet (Stream) with RGB
Ғылым және технология
This is my 100% Homemade Laminar Stream, istalled in my Garden. All is working continiusly full automatic, with several Programms created for day and Night mode. A light and a wind sensor is checking for safe running and day night mode. All can also controlled manually ba hand with a remote controll with over 30 bottons.
This is the most exiting thing i have ever donne. 1 1/2 Jear hard work and i spend a lot of monney.

By far the best homemade laminar fountain I have come across. I have wanted to do this for so long but I think the closest I will get will be to buy one! Fabulous work! Even the landscape design is beautiful!
You can tell easily here how blue light reflects and refracts so much better. This is why the ocean and pools look blue. Too cool.
The best homemade laminar I have ever seen, better than anything you can buy in the store. Great job
I made two basic laminar jets for my pool that are just the laminar flow, no cutter, no LED lights. They work great for my first attempt. Thanks for your instructional videos. My next one may have the cutter and lights. But I think it is time to sit back and enjoy summer for now. I will add some video of my laminars to my youtube page when I shoot video and load it. When friends ask me where I got this idea, I show them your video. Thanks again.
Excellent work, this is awesome at daytime and in the dark. I love this kind of "water in garden", and this is the most beautiful installation i have ever seen!
Great Boss, its a different joy and aspect of life that doing something you like and becoming successful in it.Hats off to you
Thank you for your kind words. I am glad so many people out there like it. I was sending a PM to you. Have Fun.
Thank you for your kind Words. I enjoy it every year during summer and fall, the water, the light.
Nice! Can you tell me where you got the nozzle from?
This is really amazing. May I ask where you got the fibre optics from? or even what the diameter is?
Been searching this stuff, and this one is one of the best ones i have seen. Are you going to post some info on how its all made so we all can enjoy such a great show as you have. Thanks for posting.
how did you make it look like many colors at once?
Thank you so much for your comment. I am glad you like it. It's running now the 4th year, and still work great. *BIGSMILE*
just beautiful!!
Amazing! How do you get the stream to start and stop so suddenly? And what diameter hole are you using? I'm using a 16000 l/h pump with a 1/2 inch water exit and can't get good enough distance on the stream.
perfect. if you just slightly rework "target" area and there put another RGB LED, cutted stream will have same affect at the and as on the beginning. light will be not cutted at once, but will recede ;)
Nice 👍
@magicmastera you have done great job excellent hard work i know how much difficult to make it.Expecting more N more....keep it Up.
This is so inspirational! You should be proud. I'm putting in a Koi pond and want to install a jumping fountain like yours over my pond. You've obviously put in so much work to get it to this point. I really don't know where to begin with the RGB. Can you steer me at all with some reading material or have you posted an electrical schematic anywhere. You must have a solid electrical or programming background? Either way, I hope my finished product looks half as good as yours does.
this is amazing.
Yes, its a company called Oase, the pump is a Neptun 5000. But you can use a smaller one, the pump is only about 1/3 open. The 3000 would be strong enough.
@canavarRo69 Hi, thank you, It took 1 1/2 year to develop from scratch and building and rebuilding it. Also you need a bunch of monney for a perfect full automated system with hi quality components. All self made. Cost me with all try and error around 6000 USD incl. the Stone Garden, incl the big Bubbling Stone. And many hundred of hours work. But every day i look outside, i am proud, enjoy it, its still working. *Sent you a PM* Cheers
@magicmastera Hi ...Fantastic and very impressive ...Could you please let me see how you fitted the lights?
@canavarRo69 Hi, thnak you so much, great you like it *BIGSMILE* It took 1 1/2 Year to build, the most time was into developing and testing. I spent a few thousand of dollars. Try and error cost a lot. But it was worth the monney and the work. I enjoy it every day. Best Regards ...
What system did you use for the lights?
Hi, thak you so much, i am glad you like it. *SMILE* What is going on with your nozzle?
Hello I have made one. The laminar part was no problem, but I tried many things for the light. What is most important to bring the light into the jet ?
Hi, This is a Brass tube, it's a simple reason, the fiber optic cables comes in here, with the brass tube, you can adjust it to the exact middle of the outlet , very usefull for the final adjustemts for the RGB light.
you're a wizard Harry
Very Nice .....Attach a strobe light to it make it appear to flow backwards???
Please Please let me know where and how to position/waterproof and 'train ' the leds to give such a perfect light Fantastic and very impressive work
good job BIGSMILE awesome ..
Do you have instructions of how to make the laminar jumping jet, if not do you sell them?
what hp motor connected friend
Hey Zoraneen, thanks for your comments on my videos. *SMILE* At the moment the Lamianr Project is finished, and no new videos will be published. Stay cool ...
Thank you for your nice comment. I am Glad you like it.
hi please help me to make this jet what is low pass filter ? do you use this filter? i wait your response
Nice, nice, nice...
wow bro ... that`s awesome ...i mean it`s fabulous ... how did you creat such thing ? I`ve see somenthing like that biger and with lot more water jets in Detroit airport and i thought "how awesome is that" ...You did a great job my friend congrats on your creative work ... by any chance can you make public how much you spent and how long it took to get it done ???
thanks ... *SMILE*
Hi, Congratulations on your hardwork. I am also folllowing you. Anyway to share Arduino sketch?
hola buenos dias estoy interesado en comprar 2 sistemas de fuente laminar cuanto es el precio? en que pais estas ubicado. gracias por su tiempo.
Please can you put a bass speaker near it and make the flow into a spiral? perhaps the volume of flow is impractiacl because it would need a very powerful sine wave to make it into a wobble laminar flow
This is absolutely beautiful. Do you have a build log or any information on how you built the nozzle?

4 x 3mm black coated Fiber Optics and 4 Luxeon LEDS 5W each.
how do you stop water flow in mid way?
Excellent! Best I have seen. Looked at doing this a few years ago and there was very little info. on the web. Looking for detailed plans for the nozzle assy. with a single color light (blue). Would you be willing to share your plans? I want to make 5, to shoot from a retaining wall into the pool. Figured I could use a common header from my pool pump and branch to each one.
Thnaky you for translating. I can not sell it, it's self made for personal use in my garden. The system of the nozzle is protected by US patent law. Sorry. You can Buy cheap systems from about 500 - 1000 USD on Ebay, more expensive but better from Oase company abot 3000 USD or the best of all, Wet Design about 5000 USD or more.
Hey, Great Setup. Could give brief idea about Laminar Jet cutter working mechanism? Thanks in advance.

I just loaded my laminar videos. There are 3 videos: Laminar flow fountain, Laminar fountain box, and Laminar fountain night test.
I wish i can make it.
Dear Sir I tried for leminar nozzle, but after some distance water spread. I want to know about LOW PASS FILTER. is top & bottom empty space are play a role of LOW PASS FILTER. what is air tank before leminar nozzle? Dear Sir I also tried for laminar, up to a extend I successes, but after a distance water spread. I use 4" dia pipe and 10" long and water jet hole is 12mm. pump is 18 meter head and discharge 6480 lph. I need water flow rate and pump specification

The low pass filter is eliminating the Pump Jitter. Its nothing more than a air thight thank, the beigger the better, water inlet is about on a third of the lenght, out bottom, the natural air inside will balance the water pressure. My one is about 600mm high, 200mm diameter or similar. Good luck

Hi Denis, the parts are all removeble. The whole nozzle construction. Just the High quality epoxy fiber glass box that holds the electronics inside, is outside the whole year. It still works, after 12 Years.

Hi, Sorry, i dont speak spain.
Mario, check your inbox, I have sent you a few new ideas from my tests.
Very cool, and then it got very boring, very fast. Now make one that does a sine wave. I'll be waiting patiently. Then do alternating sine waves that intersect. I don't care if the known physics makes it impossible. Do it.
