Homemade Fresh Cabbage Kimchi

Today, I finally regained my energy after recovering from Covid, which kept me down for over a week. To celebrate, I decided to prepare a Korean barbecue dinner and make fresh Napa cabbage kimchi from scratch. Follow along in my video as I guide you through the process. Luckily, a friend was visiting, and she joined me for dinner. She kindly offered to assist by being my hands while I handle the filming. *Homemade Fresh Cabbage Kimchi*
Ingredients:
- 2 large heads of Napa cabbage, cut into 1.5-2 inch pieces
- 2 apples, peeled and julienned (1) & cubed to make paste (1)
- 2-3 bunches of green onions, cut into 1.5-2 inch pieces
- 1 carrot, peeled and julienned
- 5 tablespoons of Korean pepper powder
- 5 tablespoons fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons salted shrimp
- 1-2 inch nub of ginger
- 1 head of garlic, peeled and minced
- 1/2 cup sea salt
