I literally laughed out loud when you said that someone could shake their cream to butter in a mason jar! I thought, “anyone who can do that would definitely win an arm wrestling contest against everyone I know!” 😂

On you whisk attachment look at the wires. There is a groove in one of them. Make sure the long wire in inside that groove and it will stop making that noise. I have to check this all the time, or the noise can drive you nuts when it is clicking on the bowl. I hope this helps. 😀

Pro tip, switch to your paddle attachment when you get to the over whipped cream part. Much easier to clean, whisk attachment holds too much butter to it. Best butter ever! Try French cultured butter now ☺️

I believe your beater blade is too low. Tilt the top back and you’ll see a screw where the top motor meets the stand, the screw adjusts the height. There’s a video using a dime to gauge height, I explain things terribly ❤

Good job! I could see how that ticking would get annoying. As someone suggested below, you have a wire out of place or the whisk is bent which is causing the ticking noise and also could be causing it to be off balance, and thus the vibrating. Can't beat homemade butter!

I had the same noise with my kitchen aid. The gears needed re greasing. If it's hot & the mixer isn't used for a while, the grease inside melts & settles to a lower point. Running it for a short while on low helps redistribute the gear grease.

Love the channel ❤! There's a plastic consumable part (the worm gear) and a good cleaning and greasing on the inside and replace that plastic gear. In most cases your mixer will be good for another 5-10 years.

How cool! Watching the process is amazing. It's on my bucket of to do's though. OH.. BTW I had water bath canned 3 hours my jars of chicken noodle soup with the thin dry German noodles... ugh... they came out mushy but I'm ok with it. Still tastes amazing! Next time I'll use dry thicker noodles. Am NOT giving up! LOL Thank you for sharing!!! Have a wonderful day little Sis.

If you look up how to do maintenance on your Kitchenaid on YT, you can find videos of how to break it down and adjust/clean etc. It's super easy and kind of fun. Also, if you smash some blackberries into some of your butter it makes an amazing finish to beef or venison steaks.❤

Although I am sure you weren't using the splash guard as to show viewers a better view of what takes place, I do want to mention that I used to make butter with the stand mixer as well. That was until someone said they prefer their food processor. I now would agree! I prefer the food processor over the stand mixer as it is far less messy.

Your tools are probably just fine. Just need som minor adjustment. On most serious kitchenmachines there is an adjustmentbolt on top of your beater/dough-hook that adjust how deep into the bowl the attachment go. Just loosen the bolt while it is attached to your machine and spin the wisk/hook clock(or counter) wise until it is just almost touch the bottom of your bown. Then tighten the bolt ontop of your accesssories. You'll be just fine☺ love your videoes☺

And regarding the movement of the top part is probably loosened nuts an bolts on the hinge-connection or failing bushings. Which is probably easily bought from a dealer at low cost. And one other commenter made a good point about the wiskwire seemed to have jumped out of the groove at the bottom. My guess is that this is fixed cheaply, these Machines usually last a lifetime☺☺

Great video home made butter is delicious but extremely expensive to make unless you have your own cows or access to fresh organic milk. However I would point out that Buttermilk is not a by product of making butter it’s a cultured milk, in Ireland it is a staple product & easy to purchase in UK not easy to buy. The best alternative I have found is Kefir homemade or shop bought, alternative good is fresh milk with 1/3 cultured plain yoghurt. Hope this helps your international visitors.

I want to try this! Have you ever used a butter bell crock? I think that's what they're called. I just recently learned about them and wondered what others opinions are on them. The cup (belle) part goes into the crock upside down and a little water in the bottom makes the butter air tight. I think they're more popular in Europe.

I use to dehydrate a lot of food, but carrots and certin veggies always tasted off after rehydrating. I will only water bath my veggies from now on. Thank you so much for your guidance. Have you ever thought of dry canning or wanted to try it? I would be intrested in your openion.
