Overview
Home Gym Con was a fantastic weekend filled with camaraderie and excitement. The highlight of the event was the people, with attendees and vendors alike expressing their love for the home gym community. The scale of the event was also impressive, with a significant increase in vendors and attendees compared to the previous year. ATX Equipment stood out as a major contender, with their unique and well-engineered equipment making a big impression. Mayhem's fluorescent flecks plates and other plates also caught attention for their aesthetic appeal. The event provided an opportunity for vendors to connect with the community and gain exposure, emphasizing the importance of engagement and immersion in the home gym community. Home Gym Con 2025 is set to take place in Louisville, Kentucky, with a larger venue and more accessibility. The event has grown significantly since its inception and continues to attract both vendors and attendees. Some big vendors were unable to attend this year, including Sorinex, Bulletproof Fitness, and Giant Lifting. Coop from Garage Gym Reviews also did not attend, sparking some controversy and discussion within the community. The importance of collaboration and support among content creators was emphasized, and the overall experience of Home Gym Con was highly positive and exciting.

Event Scale: The size and scale of this year’s event exceeded the hosts' expectations, with more vendors and people in attendance, creating a busy but exciting atmosphere.
Health and Wellness: The hosts note the importance of maintaining adequate nutrition and hydration during events, as they experienced fatigue and exhaustion due to neglecting these aspects.

Great recap, bros! My only regret was not having even more time to chat with you guys and the rest of the awesome attendees. I called Coop out for the competition comment and he replied and seemed to take my perspective to heart. I hope he makes it next year mostly because I think he would have a great time. To some extent, he’s right about competition because y’all are competing over affiliate links/clicks to a certain extent. But really, if you focus on growing the community those clicks will grow for everybody. See you in loo-uh-vill!

Appreciate the shoutout as always, gents. I was just telling the owner of another equipment company this morning that the home gym community was really unknown to me at the very beginning. I didn’t understand the breadth of passion and support they’d bring. It’s bc of that support the home gym community holds and will always hold a special place in my heart. 🫶🏼🙏🏼 See y’all in Louisville!

So much to react to from this episode! First of all, Jamison is the man! He’s such an awesome dude, complete servant’s heart to the core! Second, I greatly appreciate the shout outs, and I appreciate you guys watching my morning show! You guys know it’s always tough in the beginning of any new endeavor so that you guys are out is fuel for the fire that keeps me going! Finally there’s Coop. I only bring it up because you guys mentioned that Jake and I discussed it on my show after one of my viewers brought it up in the live chat. Tim comes from a place where his home gym journey was heavily influenced by Coop and as someone who is also new to the home gym community although he has had a home gym for a number of years he was so overwhelmed with how awesome HomeGymCon was that he kept telling me over and over that he couldn’t understand why any content creator wouldn’t be there. However, it especially bothered him that Coop wasn’t there because in a lot of ways he sees him as a mentor from afar. He told me the night before he was going to post it and I gave him my thoughts, but my opinion again is based upon being someone who’s home gym experience predates Coop’s arrival on the scene. I can vouch for Tim as being a genuine dude who really couldn’t understand why someone he respected would pass up a chance to be at an event that in someways we could argue wouldn’t have been possible without his groundwork in this community. That being said Tim and Coop have dialogue via email and it seems that they have come to an understanding so hopefully this is the end of it. Thanks again for the love and support and I have to get each of you on my show sometime soon!

Great wrap-up. I didn't get to meet you guys, although Kyle based on the legend of your scores, the loaded-up truck I saw on the way out might have been yours. 😂 While it wasn't possible to meet everyone, the fact that it felt even remotely possible says a lot about the vibe. I'm guessing next year is 2x the attendees minimum, maybe 3x or 4x.
