    i can only do extracts…so whichever yeast came with the kit. though i use yeast food to give them a kick

    Is there a yeast I can use in making lagers and pilsners but with a fermentation temp of around 72-74 degrees? I've heard I can get off-flavors if fermenting beyond the recommend temps.

    I've heard of some lager strains working fairly well (and clean) into the 60s, but I'll have to check in with our brewmaster crew to see if they can suggest one for all the way into the 70s. (A cleaner kveik such as Omega's Lutra strain could also be a possible option.) I'll try to get back to you ASAP.

    There are no brew shops where I live, what is a good place to order malted grain in bulk? I would prefer quality grain.

    If I recall correctly, In days of ol the wooden paddle or spoon accentuated like a big beard. 👈🤡👉
