This is definitely one of Home Free's more touching heartfelt songs. The video is very sweet too. Chance's voice is perfect for this type of ballad song. These guys are my favorite a cappella group. It's all about the song & not showing off with unnecessary gimmicks.

Absolutely love this song with Chance taking the lead! He has a warmth and smoothness in his voice that is just ear candy! Putting in another vote to do "Some Girls Do" where he takes the lead in a more up-beat song, and Adam Rupp is an absolute BEAST with the percussion in that! I am glad you got a chance to hear Adam Chance and his amazing voice....he and Tim don't get a lot of leads but both are very good. As are ALL of Home Free members. Another fantastic Chance lead is Born in the USA.

A lot of people don't realize how good he can sing. Like, ALL members of ALL the top-tier acapella groups can sing at a high level. Crazy good. You should hear him sing the lead on Home Free's cover of Trace Adkins' "I Can't Outrun You." He also came up with the video concept for that one as well.

Chance is amazing. Of course all the members are, but Robs and Chances voices touch me the most. They have the ideal lead singer for every song. This one was definitely Chance's! Also listen to his version of Born in the USA, a cover of HF where Chance has the lead and plays the guitar

This is a really great cover. My only wish is that more people reacted to the original by Jason Isbell. There are a number of live videos on the Tube, and they're all better than any cover I've heard. Jason is one of the best songwriters of his generation!

Bro. You have to go listen to Jason Isbell’s version of this, preferably the one on Austin City Limits. No autotune, and he sings it directly to his wife, who he wrote it for. And, she literally saved his life by getting him into rehab. Then, listen to If We Were Vampires. Both of them blow this video away….

Nick, yesss This was Chance's project the whole way...the fellas let him do his thing. He designed this & directed it, and he may have had a hand in editing it too. But the couple in the video he scripted their parts too. I'm so glad you finally got to appreciate our boy Chance !!! He's so underrated and underappreciated (at least to me) He's a very talented guy !!! He and Sami aren't married just yet, but they haven't set a new date just yet. C-vid has ruined their plans so far...it's about logistics....He & Sami live in Los Angeles, but Chance's family lives in southern Alabama, and Sami is from New Jersey & her family is there ! Pray they finally get to tie the knot ! I love Chance's beautiful baritone voice. It cuts thru to my soul always. When he was with his last band he didn't sing solos and boy has he grown into a wonderful singer/soloist with more and more opportunities to use his awesome voice. So happy for that. Chance was supposed to do the proposal in Paris, where Sami's parents did their engagement. They said the ceremony will be a private one, and the date will be only known to the closest friends and families. I think he was preparing for the proposal for a year, until the pandemic hit. He was grateful that the HF team were keeping it a secret. It's lovely to see that the guys are making these videos about their loved ones. There's also "Die a Happy Man" with Tim and Jenica, and there's also a video of Austin and his lady in his own channel (I forgot the name, I'm sorry!), then there's Chance and Sami

I understand that Adam Rupp’s wife is very private and/or camera shy. It would be a huge concession for her if she’s appeared in anything. I really don’t think he’d want to put her through it, but it’s not impossible.

Tim once announced Chance as Home Free's secret weapon. After hearing this cover i now know what he was meaning. After hearing this song 2 weeks ago i have been listening to Chance before he joined HF he has many great performances.

If Home Free sang Pop Goes the Weasel it would be better than today's manufactured, auto-tuned pop crap.

Chance shines in Finally Free. Rarely reacted to, but a favorite.

Gospel Rob at his best is Dreamer the original acapella version before the Texas Hill collab. I was begging you to check that out before there was a collab. It's awesome.....then you can listen to the collabs and be equally impressed with it live.

When Chance started with HF he sang so soft and low. As if he thought he was supposed to stay in the background. So glad HF disabused that notion. Still soft and sweet but my goodness, Chance, you’re amazing.

I done got choked up, big time, from this performance. Seeing the subject of the song was about Chance expressing his love for his fiance’ and then proposing to her opened my water works.

I’m repeating some suggestions I’ve already made….”I Can’t Outrun You “, Chance lead, 5 part harmony and Chance directed the video…”Blue Ain’t Your Color”, Chance lead shared with Rob….And I have suggested that if you want Gospel Rob PLEASE react to a hidden gem- Home Free in 2013 at the Hosanna concert doing their interpretation of “Joy to the World”. It’s a jazzy, R&B flavor, and I swear I hear some Cab Calloway influence. Rob is amazing, AND there is a beatbox breakdown. I’ve lost count as to how many times I’ve watched it. The video title comes up as I wrote it. I know it’s past Christmas, but it doesn’t really matter, does it?

This is pretty good. But you should hear Jason Isbell sing it. Its his song. Indeed, it is his life.

Some Girls Do is great but please also do I Can’t Outrun You - it’s often overlooked but so we’ll done - Chance leads and also directed - the contrasting colours tell the story in a poignant way. You will NOT be disappointed with either. 🇨🇦🎶
