This is definitely one of Home Free's more touching heartfelt songs. The video is very sweet too. Chance's voice is perfect for this type of ballad song. These guys are my favorite a cappella group. It's all about the song & not showing off with unnecessary gimmicks.

Oh Destiny wanted others to see the ring...my (late) wife went everywhere showing off that ring....in one afternoon she went to her Mom & Dad's house, my Mom & Dad's house, her sister & brother in law's house and must have called at least 30 friends LOLOL. # teamhottea I'm also # teamrescuedogs as my last 3 pups have been rescues, and I was grateful to be their forever home & forever dad. This was Chane's project the whole way....he scripted the actors, directed & edited the video, and of course sang it too. Yes this was during quarantine, and the guys all filmed in their homes....that cabin & all is just outside of Los Angeles where Chance & Sami live...you've seen Sami before if you've looked at the guys video of Sawyer Brown's song "Some Girls Do"...she was sitting in the back of the truck with Chance !

I'm with Destiney , hot chocolate and sweet tea are my drinks of choice. Never liked the taste of coffee. My mom drank enough for 10 people . And my dog choice is a dachshund. I've had three so far. It use to be Cocker Spaniels. Now, wasn't this song beautifully sung by Chance. His voice is so buttery smooth and calming. This is my favorite that he sings. Such a romantic ending. Coffee, mocha and sometimes hot chocolate, but usually only on a really cold day when I need to warm up. If you'd like to see more of Home Free's pets - they have many between them - their quarantine videos are good place. Sunday Best, Down to the Honkytonk and Quarantine are a few.

Coffee all the way.. I have a 4 shot coffee in the mornings and that is just to get me started.. My fav dog breed is German shepherd or American Bulldog- I actually have a 7yr old American Bulldog (we live in Australia) and her name is Trouble Loved how Home Free still managed to put out music during lockdown.. Chance was soo sweet in this song he has such a great vocal range

The vocal steel guitar in this song always amazes me.

Love Chances voice so smooth, heart felt. Hot chocolate, hot teas better. Love all animals, Last dog was cairn terrier, 14 yrs of pure love, before that a big 91lb, mix white with large black spots. Looks like sachmo Tim's dog. Going to fix Large mug of hot tea, it's chilly 25 up from 7 .

This was a quarantine video, yes. During lockdown they all installed recording equipment in their homes so they could continue to record music and learned to film themselves for the videos. For the dramatized portion, they found a couple who were married who had someone in their bubble who was a videographer (I believe it was one of their mothers) so it could be filmed without anyone breaking quarantine. This was a special song for Chance and Sami, and the whole video was his concept and design.

I always enjoy Home Free - they are always respectful to the song they are covering but still put their own spin on it. The original songwriter Jason Isbell wrote this for his wife-to-be Amanda Shires after she helped him get sober. You should check out some of the live versions of him performing it with her and his band the 400 Unit. By the way, Percy Priest is a dam outside Nashville on the Stones river.

I believe I read somewhere that the couple in the video are friends to Home Free and are also a duet called “The Hound and the Fox”.

Thanks y'all! I have several dog favorites, Golden Retrievers (lost mine 1&1/2 yrs ago) great family dogs, dachshunds (currently have 3) Labrador retrievers (had yellow and black, lost a black lab Christmas time was a year ago) I rescue dogs/puppies who are abandoned, abused or neglected and provide sanctuary for them. So far apprx 350 and I have to say that mutts are some of the best dogs in the world. We personally have had many and truly loved them. Also I'm team coffee in the mornings and hot chocolate in the evenings when it's really cold. This video is wonderful and I love Chance on the lead!

Definitely hot chocolate. I'm not a big coffee drinker but I like ice coffee with lots of suge and cream. And my absolutely favorite drink is sweet tea. And you know that is tim foust's favorite drink too lol. Great reaction. I love all breeds of dogs. I am definitely a dog person.

Standard poodles. They are so smart, affectionate, playful. And I absolutely love this song. Chance shines in it. And the song's story, yes, he was a lost man, one who almost destroyed the relationship because of his drinking. Now he's intent on making it up to her, and showing her how much he loves her.

If you like story, Jason Isbell is the guy. Great songwriter. This song is very personal for him, he was an alcoholic and his friend who became his wife saved him. This song was written for her, if you listen to Jason Isbell version it's full of emotion, especially when his wife plays with him.

I'm not really a coffee fan but I will drink it when it's really cold. It's more like a little coffee with cream and sugar though. So, I guess I would be more of a hot chocolate fan. I have two dogs now, a chihuahua and a chichuahua/pug mix. I've had a two other chihuahuas, miniature pinscher, poodle, border collie, german shepherd, beagle, and german shepherd/collie mix in my lifetime. My favorite sare the little dogs. We found a Jack Russell terrier once and had it for three days until we found the owner, but it was long enough to know that I wouldn't be able to handle one of them! Too much energy!!!!!

This so beautifull . Chance voice is so emotional. Daily a cup of coffee with a lot of milk (Latte Macchiato), a cup of hot chocolate and a lot of cups of tea for the rest of the day. 😉 My favorite dog is a Scottish Collie (Lassie) and a Eurasier.

I have a cocker pug. He has the personality of a spaniel (loopy) and the little chubby body and squishy face of a pug but with spaniel ears. They are adorable.

I loved this song so much. Sami has a very unique ring, Chance also has a ring also. Coffee and hot chocolate depending on the day. Always enjoy watching your reactions to music. I don't have a favorite dog breed I like a lot of them

My sister was a groomer. I love french bulldogs. boston terriers, any dog really because I once had a wolf hybred and I love her so much and she was the best. I never had to worry about anyone coming up on me when I was with her. People would cross the street when I just had her in the car. Our baby right now is a Pomchi. I would love to get another young dog. When the one had when we got her passed away this Dec 2021 and since then our baby started having seizures and the vet said that had no part in her condition but she never had on ever in the 4 years we had her before our oldest pasted away, she was a mix chi? breed

I'm Team Hot Chocolate, have never liked the taste of coffee. I'm also a huge sweet tea drinker. As far as favorite dog breed, two of my favorites are Welsh Corgis and apple head chihuahahs. I've had basset hounds all my life. My grandparents bought a litter and gave one to each set of cousins when I was about four. It was always fun at family get togethers when all six pups would reunite. I have my fifth basset now.

My favourite dog breed is German Shepard simply because it's the only dog breed I've lived with. I'm really more of a cat person and we have four wonderful kitties all with their own very strong personalities, quirks and ways of showing their love and appreciation, which they all do immensely. As an avid meditator I'm also thrilled that all four like meditating with me. 🥰🙏

haha never got into coffee. English tea and hot chocolate but not sweet tea (well my tea is sweet... honey and cream but not the sweet tea Destiny likes I'm guessing. Maybe if I move to Texas I'll develop a taste ) Lab, Husky, Mutt. We've had black labs and a husky (no blue eyes though but that made it look like a coyote which was fun to walk ). Currently we have a yellow lab that is a nice tan color (great for the duck blind) and a mutt that was labeled a lab but has no lab in it's lineage IMHO, maybe some kind of terrier. PS there is technically no red lab. It's yellow, black or brown. Red would be a yellow lab.

Hot chocolate and I’m a fan of Blue Heelers/Cattle dogs. They are not always the prettiest of breads but are super smart and I love them. We’ve had two of them recently and they are smart. Sometimes a little too smart! Our current pup is a little too big for her britches. I love most breeds though. Had a Belgian Tervuren and Samoyed too…great dogs.

A good cup of hot chocolate is outstanding (at the right time!) but will never replace coffee in my world!!!! Coffee is 24/7/365 for me ........ and never sugar! But the right amount of cream(er) is key whether is be 2%, whole, half-half, powder creamer --- or even black will be fine ... just as good if it's really good and not bitter. I don't do flavors 'cause that's not coffee; coffee should taste like coffee!!!! Period!!!! No dogs (pets) for me, I have kids! :) Home Free is simply amazing --- phenomenally exceptional/exceptionally phenomenal !!!! OK, my "thing" is over for now! Be Safe

Just Hot Tea or Sugar-free Soda. I hate coffee and can’t have hot chocolate. I had a small terrier mix and a Keeshond AND a very good groomer who didn’t mistake my Kees for a Chow. Best wishes!

The inferior version that Wallen produced needed a video about Vets with PTSD to inspire the same emotion that the songwriter Jason Isbell does with just his voice. I have to say that Home Free's version is good though.
