Great video, great information. When I started my home care I hired an experienced office/administrative assistant who had 4 years prior homecare/hospice experience. Her resume showed those experiences, during interview she showed great attitude but during orientation I figured out she doesn't want to learn new things. She's used to working for an established organization, she shows up for work on time but her attitude towards new business is poor. Some of the things I asked her to do she stated "what's the need". When a client calls she answers the phone her own way, didn't follow the script guidelines. Taking record of daily incoming calls and following up with potential clients is like a joke or waste of time. I tolerated her attitude for 3 months and left her go before 90 days. Like coach Michele said hire someone with experience also make sure they have a good attitude towards new and growing business. Some who want to see your company grow not fail or stay stagnate.

Please forgive me, I will be asking questions a lot in all your videos I have saved in my queue. Would you recommend hiring a person to do HR? Or do you as the owner feel it’s comfortable or should I say wise to handle that side of the business?

I'm new to your page and I am starting to get the paperwork together to start my own agency. One thing I wonder about is how do I pay myself an my staff. How many caregivers would I need and how many individuals I need to run the day to day and how do I fairly compensate them.

Question Michele maybe silly, but I'll ask anyway. Do a person have to have money to start up a CILIA or Group and Shared living home? or can you get funded and should a person have a home already before all documents are in place:

I will...however, you would need to get a quote. Business insurance varies just like auto, health, and life. Turn on your notifications.
