Whether your student is planning to live on or off campus, the process of finding a place to live can be challenging. This session will cover everything from applying for campus housing, hunting for off-campus apartments, navigating housing contracts, and commuter resources.

I'm trying to be optimistic, but this video was not helpful at all. To summarize, UCSD does not have enough student housing, there is no off campus housing in La Jolla, expand your search, it's expensive, be careful of scam rentals. No real solutions to the housing crisis was provided. I am curious what UCSD would do if a student's only option is to live in their car? BTW parking is another issue entirely.
