Butter knifes work too, basically anything that fits in the indent can unlock those doors. Also sometimes you don’t turn it properly on the way out, it locks behind you 🤦‍♀️

LOL. Spraying lysol into them may be a tad more effective.

If you're using vacuum bags, make sure you have a small/hand held vac that you're taking with you or you'll have a bad time when you have a ton of clothes and no way to pack them/put them away

Omg I use dryer sheets like this all the time. I'll lay one on my fan to freshen up a room. Also the vacuum bags are great for when you're traveling and you don't wanna pay for extra bags.

those are the locks we have in every single room in my house and it basically defeats the purpose of a lock because someone just pulls up with a coin and barges in without warning 💀💀💀💀

To open the lock you can also use a hair clip, bobby pin and a key if it’s small enough

Most apartments have that style of door knob on the bathroom. You don't necessarily need a coin to open them. Nowadays fewer and fewer people have coins. You can use a butter knife, a pocket knife, a trench knife, a macheting, a sword (depending on style), a flathead screwdriver, or a d4. Hope that helps anyone that has that problem and doesn't have a coin!

I just got locked out of my dorm last night and my lock must be different 😭 I tried a card, a knife, a coin, my key NOTHING I had to use the public restroom down the hall and clean my makeup with a wet paper towel, and go to bed with chapped lips 💀 Thank god my contact lense case was in my room Update: Scissors work 😌👍🏾

That last one reminds me of the locks in my old house, almost every lock on any inside door was like that, so my sister loved to just barge in my room when it was locked.

I learned that last tip when I was in elementary. I typically used spoons.

“Use coins” Me witch naturally built-in lock picks on my fingers(long, sturdy nails): Baby I’m not even here, I’m a hallucination.

I used to rent an apartment with an emergency lock and it was honestly really nice to have two locks, even tho we were inside.

Anything flat and small can fit into that turn lock. We figured out when my kids were small that flat hair clips also fit in there. Flathead screwdrivers, anything metal and flat. Plastic will snap or break. It has to be something stronger.

For the lock one you can use a thin lego, a lego separator, end of tweezers, the back of a plastic utensil ect. (I have an older brother and our bathroom has that lock and he always locks himself in there so I need a way to get in)

That lock also works with nail files and even nails or keys

Or if you don’t want to buy the vacuum bags you could get ziplock bags with a zipper and put a straw in when its not all the way zipped up. Then you can suck the air out and have it work the same way

You can also pick locks with Bobby pins, nail clippers, razors, butter knifes, your own nail. A lot of things

that lock also works with common inside doors. found this out when i was terrorizing my older sister with a butter knife

Instead of using the coin you could use two fingers right on the top and left and use your finger on your right to move it up and the other finger on the left to go down and it opens pretty Easily

Additional things you may use to open those doors (experience, little brothers): -Cutlery (spoons, forks, butterknives. Preferrably the flatter end on the opposite side you use) -fingernails if they are long enough -string if you wrap it around itself to make it more sturdy -screwdrivers (flathead) -lego pieces, bonus points for the weird orange piece they give you to take apart other legos -your parents because they will snitch

for the lock, you can also use the metal part of a charging cable, but it could ruin it after a few times.

If you can’t fit all your clothes in your car, you’re probably bringing too many clothes.

Was about to say basically the same thing: if you are skilled enough, you can use your thumb and pointer fingers together. No coin needed

my house has those kinds of courteous locks or whatever and my dad has his bedroom locked a lot becos of work so if i really need to get in there, i've grabbed nearby silverware, keys, coins, all kinds of jazz
