    Wow, impressive👍! I was searching for a security flying drone that is integrated to HA, that could fly to a point where the alarm is triggered. And i see that you are capable in accomplishing such a task. There is a high demand in drone to HA integration. If you will have time to look into this topic I'm sure you'll get a lot followers 🤝

    Thank you for thinking that I’m so smart, but unfortunately for flying drone project, I don’t have enough money or intelligence. The flying drone project is an Amazon project, it has been around for 3 years and is not ready yet. So I don't think I can compete with them. 🙂

    Awesome little bot you have there. I think the hackaday page appeared on my Google feed and got opened by accident (I didn't consciously do it) but I'm so glad it did! It reminds me a bit of 'cosmo' which is a little tracked robot, I have seen someone replicate that and thought I wonder if the 2 projects could be combined, or even if the guard bot could be made for outdoor use and have a solar charger! Brilliant project that I'm now going to have to do a load of reading up on now. Keep up the excellent work 😊

    Nice project, but I have a few questions about your design choices: according to your Github repo you use a Pro Micro as a control board for some sensors, the LEDs and the speaker and a ESP32 for the camera and WiFi. But why? The ESP32 should be sufficient enough for controlling the robot while also providing more possibilities, e.g. playing audio directly via I2S or streaming your phone's microphone directly instead of using a DFPlayer to play weirdly named mp3 files. Also, this would consume less power.

    Good Morning! First of all, congratulations for the channel and the GuardiaBot. I am with the 3D parts already ready, and most of the components received. I have a question with the SMD resistor, I can't find the 0806, I can change it for the SMD 1206 of 2.7k. Thank you.

  • @PricelessToolkit

    @PricelessToolkit

    2 жыл бұрын

    Thank you very much!. In my opinion, there is not enough space between the contacts for 1206. You can use a film resistor and bend the legs. have you already bought servos? if not, buy only controller "second link" , i checked them, they work fine. and soldering the resistor is not necessary . And probably you can't find it because the size is not 0806 -> 0805. good luck !
