Great video Dave! When I reviewed this, I had the same results with this thing as you, except mine came with the shocks half way full of oil. The car was fun though and kept my interest , as it handled pretty much anything I ran it through. I got close to 19mph with mine! While not the fastest, but still fun! Great video my Rc bro! Well done!

Thanks Rob appreciate you watching brother, its a decent budget basher especially for someone wanting to get into the hobby. Mine seems to have maybe ¼ full of oil in each shock with a layer of thick dabs of stuff like lithium grease on top. Adding a bit of oil really helped. Speed test video on 2s and 3s will be up tomorrow. It went pretty good 👍🍻 have a good Sunday my friend!

Out of all the RC cars we have this truggy is my favorite because of how smooth and balanced it is.... It is the only one I keep on the shelf in my house, the rest are in the garage.

I tried shock oil. I think these are going to need diff oil or grease. Some of my shock shafts have scratches in them and they're generally a poor surface anyway, so they leak and don't work right. It's a shame cause they're nice beefy shocks. Guess I'll try to polish up there shafts.

Under the shell it looks exactly like my ENOZE 9203E, with same wheels and transmitter. A 3670 fit quite nicely. But it's completely mental. I hit the trigger by accident, the thing does a double standing backflip. And I still got 5S and 6S to try. Once I get all this slack out the drivetrain, haha.

Yep exactly, they're basically the same RC rebranded under Holyton and DeeRC, I already converted my Enoze 9204E to brushless last year and it flies, over 70kph on lawn on 3s, haven't tried it on tarmac yet. Cheers for watching

I like the full metal drive train at this price point. Fills you with confidence. Without doubt, those shocks with oil in are much better. Nice tip! ;-) Enough power to get the back end around as well which I like!

Yes the shocks just needed a top up as it was only about ¼ to ⅓ full. These particular trucks are great because they have decent metal parts already included for a simple brushless conversion 👌😁

Just curious what weight shock oil you used. I am new to rc this is the first one I've had. I put 32.5 weight oil in the shocks and they still have very little rebound resistance. Thank you for any advice.

i like this rc, ive done a brushless upgrade on mine and replaced tires, shocks, and upgraded to a 3s lipo. i cant do a speed test on this car because if i go past about 60% speed it just flips... it needs a wheely bar or something to keep it stable. i havent found one directly for this car, but if anyone has a idea for mod, input would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Daniel, thanks for watching mate... with this RC i actually fitted some Wltoys 144001 buggy oil shocks to it, but if you wanted to fill these ones, i'd say go maybe 50w to 100w oil

  • @PERTHWESTOZRC

Oh and to fill the shocks, take the springs off the shock first so you have just the shaft and main strut and fill oil nearly to the top but not all the way, then push and pull the shaft up and down and you should see some air bubbles, do that a few times until you do not see anymore bubbles surface to the top and let the shock sit and settle for a while so the bubbles are all popped before placing the top cap on again and reinstall the spring
