Picked the book up on the FREE cart at the library today. Reading it now. Good to realize that problems are created by unholy moments and resolved by having holy moments. This phrase will stick with me.

This book is life-changing. I received an early copy, read it and instantly knew I would use it for the parish prayer group I lead. We've been reading and discussing one part each week and practicing Holy Moments in our days. It's been beautiful and the stories so inspiring--from randomly tipping a cement delivery truck driver to sending prayer blankets to offering to pray for a complete stranger... We look at our daily lives through a different lens. Thank you for waking us up to these opportunities and increasing the joy and meaning in our lives.

Here in Montana and a big hello. I received an early copy also and actually gave it away. Then made sure our parish had them for Christmas and we started right after Christmas using the book in the two faith sharing I am a part of. We did not know it would be used in Best Lent Ever, but we are all excited that we are a bit ahead of the game and ready for Lent, surprise or not, but always open to the surprises God has in store. We just asked the question at group the other day.....How is reading this book?....How is the attempt to collaborate and create Holy Moments?.... make us different from just trying always to be a good person. We decided that the word Holy, in itself makes us stop and realize we are a part of something sacred and divine. There are no boundaries in holy moments. We, too, have naturally shared holy moments created and witnessed

I became an ambassador about three months ago. And have been receiving books to read. Guess what just came in the mail. The book Holy Momens. Can't wait to start reading. This to me is a Holy Moment. Thank you

I just got his book from church and it took me 1 day to read it maybe within an hour. I couldn't put it down I have never felt so happy reading it knowing I have been creating holy moments and never put though into it. I just love making other people smile or just giving them a compliment. I hate seeing someone so sad it breaks my heart. 😮😮😮! I can do that! Whenever there are deep problems, simple solutions bring the answer. Holiness is becoming who you are meant to be by opening yourself to God and by living holy moments I can become the best version of myself😊. God is the one creating the holy moments, we open up to cooperate with Him. It’s simple but with intentionality we can create more of those holy moments. I think it is brilliant and I have to thank Matthew for this book because it has the potential to be a life changer.

"Holy Moments" is so profound....it took me more than a year to read...I kept being stuck on a few pages and had to re-read and mediate on some of the pages....Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.

Mr. Kelly, The actual listening to God is what sets us on the path to "Holy Moments". It is much like The Little Flower's mantra, “Remember that nothing is small in the eyes of God,” St. Therese says. “Do all that you do with love.” Do the dishes for your mom when she's had a rough day. Pay the extra amount needed for someone's groceries, gas or whatever if they are short. "Do ordinary things extraordinarily!" Keeping it between just you and God makes it GRACE!

Thank you, Matthew. I’ll have to check out this book. I enjoyed Life is Messy. It certain is.

I will never be the same

I love this interview and I love the book! I gave some copies away this Christmas for gifts,. I have yet to hear back from the people I gave them to, but I think I will hear from them. I learned so much from the book, but I believe I have done some holy moments after reading it without even thinking about it. Now, I will think more about it intentionally. Holy moments are incredible, and they really are not that hard to make happen, but they are so rewarding!

Will be getting Holy Moments. Working through Perfectly Myself right now. The biggest benefit Matthew about your books is that each page is carefully scripted and changes a small part of me each day. I slow down and absorb so much wisdom. I often will go back and reread parts of your other books. It's a beautiful journey each day becoming a better version of myself. In doing so I truly believe it allows God to be glorified as I seek to step aside and let His will be done in my life. As I allow His will it effects those people in my life and cross my path. I have struggles just like the next person but in nearly 54 years I have never had such a joy for living. Matthew, you are a huge reason why. Your statement "You can learn more in an hour of silence that you can in a year from books" was referenced in The Miracle Morning" by Hal Elrod back in 2019. A single moment can change your life. Heroes are made by a choice they made in a single moment. We don’t need a drastic circumstance to “save a person’s life”. When I was 14, a simple smile from a stranger saved my life. I will never forget the moment. No one knew the pain I was going through. The feeling of abandonment and sheer loneliness. The weight on my shoulders was so heavy that I could not stop the tears from flowing out of my eyes. A young man was walking on the opposite side of a small bridge we were crossing. He looked at me with the grandest smile. I can still see his face. His joyful and radiant smile from across the street shocked me. My tears literally stopped. His joy was so contagious that I long to be an image of his reflection. For the first time in my life, I had hope. The realization that happiness was attainable and that I could be happy in the future filled my being. It changed my life. This, I believe, is what Matthew is trying to help us reflect on. Holy moments are moments of loving, moments of trusting, moments of listening to our heart and acting on its promptings.

Matthew, I'm not sure how long I've been an Ambassador or how many years I have listened to you evangelize, but I have read many or your books, and your view of how we can become closer to God and to know Jesus better has helped me grow tremendously in my faith. I received this book through the Ambassador program,it is truly meaningful! This Christmas our Catholic Church , Queen of All Nations , gave out copies as gifts . Around the same time a friend of ours explained why we couldn't get in touch with him for awhile. He has diabetes, he is now on dialysis 3x a week,and just as he was getting used to his "new normal " , he had a heart attack . He is a strong man, a veteran with a lifetime career serving our country. I always thought he also had a light hearted personality with a great sense of humor., but that isn't how he sees himself. He says he is holding on now to be here for his sons. He has a Catholic upbringing, but left it behind long ago. Now though he sounds like he is open to explore the roots of his faith again, at least when it is brought up in conversation. I'm hoping our friendship will allow us to share Holy moments together, both in conversation and with gifting him the copy of Matthew's book we were able to receive from church. For this book should remind us of Matthew 20:1-16 is the parable of the workers in the vineyard. If there are some who may be closer to meeting their Creator than others, Holy Moments may help them see that they can still collaborate with God, in whatever way they are able to now. I'm wondering if there are any plans in the works for Matthew Kelly to also add an audio version of Holy Moments in the future?

I have watched this video and heard you say we should let you know what impact the book may have had on our lives. I'm an 82 yr old Baptist. I read this Catholic authors book and immediately ordered 125 copies. In the days since receiving them I have handed out about 70. I include a personal note that tries to answer the question: Why am I handing out this book? I'm trusting God to bring results. 🙄 oldbuck

I so enjoyed this interview with Jack & Matthew. You are right Jack on reading the first chapter...i am still reading Holy Moments but I think I will return to that first chapter again I did order 6 more books already & one of those books will be going to my pastor of our Church " Holy Family" in Enfield.,Ct. In hopes that He will order the books for our parish for Christmas🙏 the other 5 will be going to family & friends....but i think im going to order more. Yes, sure, book about perspective from Matthew…but yeah…at end of day, w/o God, as I think Matthew wants us to acknowledge is we all need to turn to God and our heart for answers because “stuff happens” …There are great solutions and resolutions to be found with turning to our Father. Life “is” messy, but we can overcome and “rise above” …Look to God, folks. You, too, can grow and gain wisdom. I hope this helps? I hope I respected Matthew Kelly’s message.
