I'm so grateful you ladies published a book. Let me say congrats on being published. I intend to use the book for my 18 month old's hair growth journey (I'm on it with her). You ladies are impressive and I hope you stay humble and keep up the great work! You're doing a wonderful service for African American women (especially us beautiful dark skinned sistas). Society wants us to believe we can't have long hair unless we purchase it. It starts with confidence as you said! Many thanks and wish you well in your future endeavors. If you can, we all can!

And loved your book btw! The best hair book I read so far. It made me go through all your videos again just to see your journey.

I lived in FL for 13yrs and never had an issue with my hair frizzing in the humidity, but now that I'm in NC I have to use products that keeps my frizz at bay. It's been in the 100's in NC this summer and the humidity is unbearable- worst than FL, so maybe that's why. Great vid my fellow Brown Beauties...

Kinky curly saved my life! Nothing worked for my hair like this stuff. I first purchased it after sunkissedalba mentioned it on her page but I made the big mistake of using it by itself. Didn't do much to my hair and didn't touch it again for almost a year! Gave it another go to try it with my leave in and coconut oil and BAM it's my go to :) love it so much everyone try it!!

I didn't have a good experience with Mixed Chicks and the Kinky Curly Curling Custard when I first used them after I went completely natural 3 years ago. But I think it's because I didn't really know what I was doing with my hair and didn't pair those products with the right products. I definitely want to revisit them again though since I actually know what my hair needs now. Thanks for making this video! 😊

Great advice! My favorite styler is Design Essentials Natural Curl Enhancing Mousse. I use it for my flat twists and cornrow braids in addition to the LCO method.

Kinky Curly Curling Custard has been my holy grail styler for my wash n goes until i got my hands on the Camille Rose Curl Maker! It is everything!! You get a ton of product, I love the packaging ( a pump), ton of slip, ton of definition, nice smell, and barely any crunch!

I love the pillow soft curls! But yes it doesnt give much hold so i usually only get 1 day and i have to wet my hair and re apply daily. Its worth it though.

that to go catwalk i used to use lol 3 yrs ago and it is amazing but haven't used it since I use all natural products now but it was good
