I started with the tools before I even looked for foundation I watched videos for years looking for someone who had a hooded eye combination skin and used a variety of products and techniques brush hand sponge but protect our skin because normally if we made it into our late 40s without makeup we've been taking care of our skin but protect the canvas

I'm going to be one of the 1st people on line if you both ever comes out with a makeup line. You guys know your products so well. Hair products as well. Yes I will spend my money on your products. Plus I'm an oily face girl as well. SPEAKING INTO EXISTENCE

If you like NARS soft matte you should try the YSL luminous matte. It’s like the NARS soft matte but more skin like. And it’s full coverage super light weight and lasts ALL DAY. I like it more than the NARS because it’s more skin like.

Omg!! Not until you just mentioned it did I realize I can't find my Maybelline lippie and I absolutely love them I definitely have to find or repurchase. One suggestion I would make is the Fenty gloss bomb, I have it in sweet mouth. I absolutely love it. I really love how yall put the video chapters down underneath the description box. I often refer bac to your videos especially when shopping this makes it easy for me to find what I'm looking for❤yall are awesome sauce!!!

One aspect of this video I appreciate is the fact that y'all mentioned both newer and OG favorites , like Maybelline Fit Me (I've used it on and off for years and it slay every time. Plus the huge shade range❤). I've been dipping into more expensive foundations thw last couple years and NARS been on my list for a good long while, so maybe this could be the year I try it for myself. One tip I'd also recommend: see if a brand has a travel or mini size of a product you're interested in, that way if you try and end up not liking it, you didn't waste money on a full size

I clicked so fast 😂😂 especially since my mom is beautiful and chocolate and I'm more caramel/honey so I'm sure there's some bomb colors for face, eyes, lips, and cheeks😉. Thank you ladies and you both look gorgeous ❤.

This was so good I found this so useful, I am so embarrassed to say that at 37 I have never worn makeup so I don’t know what I am doing but I am so interested because I am in a wedding at the end of the summer and I need to learn the basics so I’m not out here looking crazy I appreciate this so much 💕💕

As a dry girly Laura Mercier works beautifully bc it’s very fine just use a setting spray. I bought a mini to test out and I love it the mini has lasted yearsssss.

I absolutely love this video no matter how long it was and Us brown skin girls definitely needed to know what is universally good for us so I'm definitely going to pick up some lip products that you recommended because I've had a difficult time trying to figure out what are the best lip products are good for me and my skin tone so thank you so much again❤

I love the Hourglass skin tint, Hause Labs foundation,and It Cosmetics concealer. I agree with Benefit, I use the shade 5 and I love Laura Mercier power or Huda Beauty in the shade Kanufa. I have yet to really start using bronzer, but I’m excited to try the Fenty beauty one! I’ve also heard Juvia’s Place has some nice ones too. Thank y’all for all the wonderful recommendations.🩵

Hourglass Vanish Flash highlighting stick in Bronze Flash on my temples and a brown champagne highlighter on my cheekbones are probably part of what gets me skin compliments. No longer available at Sephora or ulta, but is on hourglass site. I tend to underpaint cream highlighter and marry the shades on the side. Pat McGrath shade medium deep 23 for reference

You are both lovely. I am going to try the Laura Mercier setting powder. I am oily but don’t like any that I have tried so far. Also, will try the Juvias concealer, and Fenty bronzer! This has been very helpful!! TY!!

Thanks for the info ladies. I was wondering about a perfect eye shadow primer that will make my shadows pop and not crease for a brown gal. I currently use Smashbox for a couple years but I am not liking it. Makes my lids gave a weird color before applying my shadows. Blessings~
