I purchased my 407c about a month ago and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it wasn't really a dot but more of a circle, I really like my new holosun optic and I just got my new optic gard 507 /407 protective cover for it which really set it off for me
I purchased the 407c-green model and will be mounting it on my new Ruger Mk IV 75th Anniversary. Great combination! Thanks for the good explanation of a great sight!
Clear and concise information no deviation. Thank you. My first red dot was a Trijicon RMR. Down side had to remove for battery replacement. My second Vortex Venom; it has big window and 6 MOA. The third a Holosun 509T RD kind ofBoxie but efficient. So now the 407c x2 with a 2 MOA will see a lot of IDPA matches.
407co on the way $200 🙌
I wish they gave us over chargeable battery so the solar panel can actually charge the battery as well
Holosun is amazing! I have the 407K and have had ZERO issues!,

Do you know if the 407K is compatible with a Glock 23, or will I have to get the 407C?
I love mine, I was debating between 407 & 507 but the only difference between the two is the circle around the red dot. Holosun also zeroed their optic from the factory @25 yards.

I just bought the 407K and I don't like how small the window is and I just realized it doesn't have a solar panel lol going to return it and get a 407c even if it is only a 2 MOA dot vs the 407k's 6MOA dot
I just ordered my HE407c x2 Green 2moa because I have an astigmatism. Hopefully it helps. It's not too bad but green should be better in the bright TX Sun shine. I have a few 3 & 4moa Red dots that aren't bad but I use my pistols on the Ranch for 50y headshots on hogs, coyotes and Bobcats. Topping it off on my $199 Dagger FDE SW4 GatorMouth cut RMR milled threaded barrel suppressor sights complete upper for my G19X lower. She's a beast now. 🤟

If you have a subcompact/micro pistol the 407k has a surprisingly clear dot even for astigmatism. I wonder if prism or Holo micro optics will be a thing in the near future, that would be ideal. Thanks for watching!

Wait, what’s the difference between the hs407, and he407?

@@videogazer801most don't know or say what the difference is. I can't remember but you can google it, the HE is the much better one to get. HE = Elite, HS= Standard. Had mine a year now & I love it! I have a astigmatism & the 2moa is good turned down. You'll have to take it out of auto brightness & Dim mode. I believe the Elite versions are just tougher to regular standards. It's very cool walking from a bright room to a darker one & seeing it dim or get brighter depending on the lighting situation. $200 on sale ain't bad from Optics Planet, may be cheaper now days. lol

@@videogazer801HE or Elite versions come with 10yr warranty compared to the HS or Standard comes with a 3yr warranty plus the HE are green dots & I believe are a slightly upgrade from the Standard models. Even though you can buy a HE407c x2 for under $200 when you catch them on sale 🤟

I’ve had really good performance from all of my Holosun scopes.
Where did you find the 507c for $245?
Wish they had the 6moa dot on the 407c

When you do slide manipulation like with malfunction clearance drills, do you grab the slide or the optic?
@realpracticaltactical
Жыл бұрын
I train with two methods: The first way is to put my palm over the optic body and grip the slide with my fingertips to maximize the area my hand can grab. The palm squeezes the hood of the optic and the fingers squeeze the slide. The second method I practice is pushing on the front of the optic with the blade of my hand. Thanks for watching!
I must have astigmatism because my Aimpoint T1 looked like garbage and couldn’t tell the difference between it and a sig Romeo 5

Might wanna try some prisms or eotechs that’s what works for me
Is this okay to be used as an offset optic on an AR15?
I just mounted mine and zeroed it a couple weeks ago. Put 200 rounds through it and it was solid. I noticed the zero was off a couple days ago when the dot was way far left. Its mounted directly to the slide no plate I checked the screws and they were still solid and tight no movement in the optic at all. I’m gonna reshoot and zero it and see what happens but I don’t trust it enough to carry it which is frustrating. Any thoughts on this? Has this happened to anyone else?

Maybe see if they can replace it?

Ive never experienced this personally on a Holosun. I would definitely send it back. They'll likely try to fix it, and then replace it if it cant be fixed.
So your saying the 6 moa dot is better for astigmatism vs the 2 moa dot? I would think the smaller dot would be better, but havent purchased one yet because of being wary of the bloom.

For my eyes, yes. Holosun may use a different emitter / etc that makes a difference between the 407 and 407k, so I can't say that definitively though. Thanks for watching!
