    also just on the money issue alone. george before the last season of superman wrapped was making $5000.00 a week from the show. (during production) last i checked his car was given to him by toni. his house was purchased by toni for him in his name. clothing, furniture etc all furnished by toni. he had pretty much no expenses short of food utilities, property taxes and what other spending he fancied himself for. but to give you context. the average american worker was just making $5000.00/yr. so george made so just from the superman gig alone could've supported him for some time if he was frugal with his money. like you said with his next season of superman and potentital 3 picture deal that would've been enough for him to eat off of for the rest of his life. if george lived int othe 1960s and beyond he would've been asked to guest star on multple shows or movies just due to his superman fame same thing that happened to adam west or william shatner.

    Those first two glances in the third flashback, I think, are to The Drawer where The Luger is kept - Body is in the doorway, he seems to be looking towards the desk across the room, which is, I think, where she gets The Luger in the *first* flashback.

    There has been no real evidence to indicate that future episodes of Superman were planned after the series was canceled. The only cast member to suggest this was Noel Neil, but the others stated in interviews over the years that the series was indeed finished. Reeves had no deals with Paramount - in fact, at the time Paramount and the other studios were cutting back on their so-called "B-movies" (Reeves' niche) due to the influence of television, which was then capturing the viewers who had traditionally flocked to see the low budget, middling feature films starring less than top-tier actors - actors like Reeves. Reeves had conceived a few film projects but was unable to find financial backing, although a science fiction movie filmed in Spain would have possibly come to fruition had he not died. The only truly solid project on the horizon was to have Reeves participating in some exhibition boxing matches with Archie Moore (Reeves had been a wrestler in his younger days). The fact is, at the time of his death, Reeves had been out of work for over two years with no end to his dry spell in sight. He was approaching 50 and nearly broke. Reeves had a blood alcohol level of .27 when he died and had also been taking hefty doses of painkillers due to a recent car accident. The booze and pills probably just exacerbated an already profound state of depression.

    You missed a very big detail. Brody picked up that card from the front lawn. That signifies that it was murder. If anything that was the directors way of keeping it open ended. We also have to remind ourselves of the clues. The bruises on the arm, the case of the bullet was found underneath the body. The holes in the floor. Reeves was also a very sad man, so you may be right.

    There is a possibility, in my analysis anyway, there was more than one person other than George Reeves in the bedroom that night. The reason I feel this is because though it is said the police aren't called for 45 minutes after Reeves was deceased. Whoever was in the room came downstairs and threatened everyone at the party that night - (my opinion). think, think think...someone or more than one person were in the bedroom (speculation on my part). How did the person get into the bedroom? There is a party going on, lots of people in the room. Easily someone or even more than one person can get into the house and go up the stairs into the bedroom - there is no other way anyone can get to the bedroom...the gun goes off - once? Twice? Three Times? Whatever it was - then there is no way to leave that bedroom except down the stairs - and of course there is more than one gun - has to be - and the guests are threatened and told what to do - why wait 45 minutes to call the police:? This is the speculation I have as to what MAY have happened that night...

  • @eloiseockert6561

    @eloiseockert6561

    4 жыл бұрын

    45 minutes before the police were called: My speculation is thus: The murderers seeing the light on outside the house went in most likely unnoticed by the people partying...went upstairs (there is a speculation someone or 2 people climbed through the bedroom window...but look at the outside even with a ladder the climb would be shortened)... I feel the murderer(s) just walked in. Everyone making noise and drunk loud music playing the murderer(s) just went upstairs waiting for Reeves to go up...he finally goes up, and the murderer(s) make themselves known. There is a bit of a scuffle but Reeves can not overcome the murderer(s), most likely because he is naked, and also drunk and exhausted. After the shooting: the killer(s) go downstairs and make themselves known with a gun or guns drawn. They tell everyone to keep quiet about what happened and go into detail about what they all need to do or else...this is the reason for the 40/45 minute wait... I do not feel Leonore killed Reeves by accident. She certainly wasn't a gold digger as shown in the film, though she was known for a temper...Before meeting Reeves she was an astute socialite and a member of The Café Society... After the 'death,' she did not attend the funeral/memorial service for Reeves. Most likely she was told not to - reporters all over the scene and she may have been tempted to tell what had really happened...she returned to NYC and never turned back or returned. Though it is stated she lived alone in NYC this is not the case. I have no idea where she went to live coming back to NYC, but she eventually met Jack Whitimore and lived with him...It is stated when she died her family said she died from alcohol dementia - and was found approximately 5 days after her death...it is obvious Jack must have passed before her and made sure she was well taken care of...she still had plenty of friends though she turned into a recluse in her later years... As for Toni: SHe did live with Reeves with Eddie's knowledge. Eddie purchased the house the 2 lived in and Toni gifted the house to George for whatever her reasons. George doesn't only spurn Toni for Leonore but also has Leonore move into the house with him. Eddie sees how devastatingly hurt Toni is and arranges the murder. It is even hinted around that George and Toni was being supported by Eddie... As for the house being willed back to Toni after his death whenever it would have occurred is the right thing for George to have done for the simple fact Toni had bought the house for him...so why this is so unbelievable to people is beyond me, he did the right thing. As for Lewonore remember the 2 had only been together for 6 months and were planning a wedding, so he most likely would have left something to Leonore but just didn't do it as he was going to wait until the 2 were married.... So there is it: Oh, as for Toni being married to Eddie, she must have been in love with her at one time. And she with him. But for whatever reason neither wanted a divorce. Toni also was an astute woman being a professional dancer. The Siegfdield Follies girl(s) had their legs insured for 1 million dollars...so her marrying Eddie had to be love at one point! So this is my speculation and my take on the situation.

    They were all drunk also remember. It is well known that George Reeves was an alcoholic. I do not know that Leonore was. I do know Toni wasn't. But Leonore was a member of the Cafe Society. Leonore lived in California for about 6 months (with Reeves). Leonore left Calfornia and returned to NYC and lived there for the rest of her life. She became involved with Jack Whitimore and lived with him for the rest of his life. Leonore outlived Jack and she was well taken care of afterwards as she lived in that apartment for the rest of her life. I tried looking up Jack Whitimore but can not find anything on Jack Whitimore. In Leonores bio online it stated her family stated she lived in 'her' apartment until her death. No mention of Jack Whitimore...sighhhh
