Hollow Knight's somber main theme with it's slow, echoing melody really sets the bittersweet tone of the game so I tried my best to emulate that here! This arrangement is definitely on the simpler side until the loop, at which point additional chords and instrumentation are added in to provide a more fast-paced and tense contrast to the original, signifying the start or end of an intense quest. As Sealed Vessel is one of my favorite songs, I naturally had to work that into the middle, especially since that song is the most directly tied to the main theme in composition.
Hopefully you enjoyed the cover and both it and the album as a whole will help to ease the painfully long wait for Silksong!
