For anyone on the fence about getting this game, DO IT! It’s only 15 bucks and it’s fantastic. The controls are super tight. The boss fights are fun, fair and challenging. The exploration never feels tedious. The music and atmosphere is haunting and immersive. Plus free DLC. Buy this game!

TheZookProject No there isn't. But in the new DLC is a Bossrush mode and you can also play the extremly challanging hard core mode. And it took me 56 h for 113% completion so there is a looot to do! For only 15$!!!

Mathis Wagner I love hollow knight two man if it wasn't for my my friend Ian who got this game in steam I would've saw it and thought oh it's a legend of Zelda type game but boy was I wrong this game is awesome for metroidvania fan and new ones that never payed a metroidvania but still tho 113% how I beat the whole game with true ending,did all quest like flower quest and grubs beat all bosses and finished hunters journal to get hunters mark completed hidden dreams dung defender 5 times but grey prince zote only 3 beat the Grimm troupe dlc with nightmare king Grimm and path of pain and this only gave me 107% which was odd to me cause everybody says it goes up to 106% so if you can exsplained to me how you got this I would appreciate that and if it grey prince Zote oh boy he's going down if you comment I'll very appreciate it and I'll go make a 107% proof video in a few days

Bought it as soon as it was available on switch, this game looks amazing and team cherry honestly deserves the support. Indie developers giving us one update after the other for free, AAA companies can still learn a thing or two from these guys.

I love that the host is actually a fan of the game. She brings up Myla intentionally (at 8:45) because she knows the whole story about her as mentioned in the later parts of the video.

If anyone is on the fence about purchasing this, do it. It's absolutely astounding.

Hollow knight would be perfect for smash -Side B is Shade soul -Down B is Descending Darkness -Normal B is the spiraling slash -Up B is Monarch Wings -Dashing could be Shade Cloak -Final Smash could be dream Nail -He could be a light weight character -He could wall bounce Proof he is perfect for smash

Perhaps his double jump would be monarch wings. He won’t have a recovery up b similar to jigglypuff. But the double jump would be floatier

@@ItsFlatMan Wouldn't work. Only two jump, with your only means to get back being "i have a second jump but its floatier" youll die. Edgeguard- dead. he'd be one of the worst character, off stage- dead. He needs a up b recovery

Just finished nier automata and it is another masterpiece... only thing thing wrong with it is that there’s no announcement for part 2. Now I’m currently searching for the next masterpiece to play.

Greatest Metroidvania of all time. Hard for me to say anything is better than Super Metroid, but this game is the one that finally took the crown.

Still can't believe it's only 15 dollars. It could easily be like 30 dollars, one of the best games I've played

I'm glad this game came to switch, it looks really interesting. I'm just starting out and judging by the gameplay it looks like there is a lot of awesome upgrades and progression. Nice job!

It is fascinating to see how they changed the names of the pantheons. "Pantheon of Stone" while also having Paint master Sheo as the first pantheon's final boss. I knew he was too easy!

I like the unique Indie games! They have so much appeal. Definitely want to check this out

**If you like Metroidvanias, BUY THIS GAME** This isn't one of those that people like to label as a Metroidvania when it isn't really. This game **IS** a Metroidvania, and it's in my top 3. If you're on the fence, but you like Metroidvanias, you'll want to experience this one fresh.

They really hit the nail in the head with this game I just played it for the first time recently since it was free on PlayStation this month and I have never played a side scrolling game before besides Mario when I was a kid but this game is great I love the challenge I beat the trial of the fool and now I am trying my luck with the nightmare king grimm and the pantheons.

YESSS HOLLOW KNIGHTTTT

Hollow Knight! This is one of my favorite Indie games ever. It reminds me of Undertale and Child of Light in the art style, and in the fact that it is a high fantasy game, set underground, where light plays an important factor in fighting fantastical monsters. I'm so glad it's available on the Switch now.

I got it, played it for two days straight, and beat it. I absolutely recommend it to any fan of 2d Metroid style games. It is brutally difficult sometimes, though, so be warned.

Bought this for myself, and before I knew it, my brother finished it before me! Congrats to Team Cherry for such a creepy but cute game.

Aussie legends now... Probably the best game to come out of Australia. Well done lads. Well done.

I've been playing this game and it's awesome. It starts off slow but when you start getting all the power ups it gets awesome!

Why do you comment on every single Nintendo video with the same generic message of "This looks good!"? I'm not hating or anything, but it seems like you're doing this for blatant advertisement of your channel (which by the way has decent content, but not enough to justify what you're doing).

Ugh I love this game. It brings the sweet spot that Castlevania and Binding of Isaac brought. It’s a reward to play through, I love rerunning this game.

Why would it not be special? It's not like Metroid or Castlevania became uninteresting after their first games. But if the devs themselves don't feel like doing a sequel, no big deal. I would also be happy with other ideas from them, for sure. I just wish they didn't let this character and his world die in a single game.

Given what we know about the world of Hollow Knight, Radiance's defeat would most likely see the fallen kingdom of Hallownest finally find rest and peace, with its few living inhabitants going about their lives until they too pass.

Ah yes, I remember playing this for the first time. I didn't know what it was, but played it nonetheless. I soon got intrigued, then got invested. I soon fell in love with the game I still play to this day. With about 30+ hours of play time and at 110% completion. And all because it was my little brothers birthday present.

AnisK Celeste is about hard platforming. This is more about exploring and challenging bosses. But there's a certain challenging platforming area. The game's at least 20 hours on your first playthrough without guides.
