I already beat Octo Expansion and I loved how the levels looked, and the levels were much harder than the normal single player. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had on the switch!

See the creator can't even beat some of the stages, this game is brutal ...but I had a blast skipping through most of the levels today.

I love the Octo Expansion😍 I find it hard and frustrating but at least the levels are being completed with help from Pearl and Marina, it is AMAZING! Octolings vs Inklings in Regular Battle and Ranked Battle, Octolings and Inklings also work together to collect eggs and dafeate enemies in Salmon Run😊

arbitrary PasTime well most people who bought the cotp expansion probably played Splatoon 2 or very very probably have it, i think you can buy the DLC withoit the game but dunno if you can play it, it's a different story with Pokemon as you can jump in any game and be fine, and they don't do DLC

Can someone help me please I bought the dlc but after i saw two splatoon 2 icons at my home menu but when I try to enter the octo expansion it say buy the octo expansion dlc and download it. And one of the Splatoon 2 icons have v.1.1.2

You want a story mode accessible for everyone? Play Octo Canyon. The entire point of the expansion is to test your skills and provide new challenges, that's how it was designed. Even then, the game never outright mocks the player for skipping a level, just doesn't give them a full reward for beating it, which functions as an incentive to try a level again and beat it on their own.
