Holley's CEO is pretty damn cool.
Born and raised in Cali, now in Florida, always recognize Jays car treks through the 210 Freeway and foothill Blvd Route 66” Beautiful Truck.
The last of the really good looking trucks. No crew cab 4x4 silliness. Thanks for the great video.
That truck is so nicely done. The perfect combination of modern tech and originality.

I love that truck. I wouldn’t change a thing. Perfectly done.
Tom is a pretty cool CEO and he really knows his stuff. Great video Jay, I really like what they've done with this truck.
The first sentence Jay spoke is the reason I like him!! He's real down to earth person and not your typical celebrity.
This may not be real TV but I look forward to every new installment like a little kid .Thanks, Harry Schwarte

I own a 1972 c10 myself i would love to restore it one day with my dad
You're right about keeping certain (If not all ) factory styling components. Nothing ruins the experience more than those cheap ass steering wheels. That original steering wheel, dash & interior really enhances. Suspension, and stance are spot on as well. Love that color as well, although with the lighting ,and all it has the appearance of added clear coat w/ pearl. This gives me further motivation for my '63 C10.
This is the gentleman that my father and I dealt with back in the day we were looking for parts for the Holley variable venturi 2800 CFM carburetors that they used on the Packard V-12 for WWII PT boats
'67 C10 Chevrolet will NEVER go out of style. Lovin' the channel, what an inspiration for me!

And I prefer the '69 but that's probably because I used to have one. To be completely honest I actually prefer GMC's of this era. Can't beat the quad headlights.

There is something about the look of older cars that I like. I really don't care too much for all the streamlining that they have today.
My first truck was a stock gold-colored 69, C10 step-side with a 250 ci straight 6 and three on the tree. I don't miss it too much.

People didn't think to much of these trucks back in the day, they were just a work truck. Now look at them everybody wants them.
Love Jay's videos. His enthusiasm for different types of cars/bikes is fun to watch.
This might be my favorite vintage restomod you have shown. The exhaust note is sublime. Best combination of old and new school in a car I’ve ever seen.
My uncle who taught me carpentry had this exact same truck right down to the color, course it had a 250 six and three on the tree but one day I dropped a 283 in it and we were in heaven. Road and drove many a mile in that pick up, oh and it never had a radio either. Thanks for sharing Mr. Leno..

I like all Jay's videos before I even watch them because I know I won't be disappointed.
Great pick-up truck, much nicer than the modern jumbo sized stuff !!!
I am so glad you do this show! Thanks Jay!
The perfect way to do a resto-mod. Love the engine bay and the look of a 4 bbl. Thanks Tom and Jay. :)
Jay Leno you're pretty cool man... Thanks for running a great channel and sharing with us when you probably really don't have to. Loving the Chevy too (obviously)
69 gmc 1500 I learned to drive when I was 10 it was 3 speed on the wheel. My dad would be having a beer and teaching me to drive. Those days are long gone. I’ll never forget him or the truck. Some day I hope to get one.
This 67 Chevy C10 has to be one my most favorite Chevy Trucks plain jane simple small rear window and I love the fact they kept the stock fuel filler cap despite relocation of fuel tank.. but over I love the clean look simplicity compared to other trucks out there .. I love it thanks Jay Leno for featuring this truck
Before I even start watching. This is (IMO) the best looking truck model (except for GMC model for the cool double headlights) ever made. I wish a truck maker would make a modern version of this, similar to how they are making cars like the muscle designs are being reused.

Makes me smile. My grandfather had this truck with a V-6 as I recall. It was certainly that color. Nicely done.

Yeah, it'd be nice if there was a tilt wheel with a thinner column. It's the thickness of the column that ruins the look.
I like that truck, too! It's the right year, color , nicely done. I like the white grill, but I would have to have a chrome one as well, because I'm rich, with money pouring out of my pockets, sorry, I was dreaming Great show Jay
I will now, and forever more, guage Jay's satisfaction/enthusiasm for a particular vehicle by the number of "Nicely dones!" per video.
Nice episode Jay, always looking forward to them. Always light and fun, really makes me chuckle all the time. Thank you.

fender guitars used the same color's of GM cars on their guitars during the 50's-60's using nitrocellulose formulas before acrylic was adopted by GM .. That color is referred to as surf green . Nitro is still used to this day on guitars and is preferred over acrylic for higher end guitars. Nitro finish wears out far faster and can be made in production to appear as an old guitar called a "relic" .

I worked at a Chevy dealership in 1969. The Coast Guard bought a C 10 short bed step side, 250 straight 6 with 3 on the tree. Same color as this holly truck but with a white roof and no options. I had the pleasure of delivering it to the Coast Guard station about 12 miles away. That truck rode and handled well. Steering was light and precise (no power). To me that truck was the epitome of automotive development. Simple, driver in control (as opposed to computer) and everything worked like the well oiled and engineered machine that it was.
they never spoke about how it tunes itself.

Skylar Garrett Yeah I know, open loop closed loop etc. But you all are just guessing. The CEO of Holley may actually know but he hardly said a word.
50s and 60s 'Murican cars were a golden era. Now the entire world drives the same drab rubbish, like Priuses, Toyota SUVs, Infinitis, Lexus etc etc. Zero style and flair, unimaginative design, endless pointless options and safety gubbins, and inoffensive colour schemes. Bring back ginormous fins, chrome, sexy pastel colours off of the 50s, and gigantic V8s in cars that were styled to look like space ships.

NegativeNumbers427 For shame :( In the 50s and 60s, especially in the States, people demanded a bit more class, style, pizzazz. America had an ego the size of the moon, and that was a good thing when it came to car design.

MrKeyboardCommando The simplicity ('Murican cars from that period were made with a hammer and an axe, lol) combined with their power and the looks/sound is just as amazing as any European sports cars of the time. Even with an old 454 or 427 big block of the time, a C10 back in the day could've taken on any 911, at least in the straight line, plus it sounds better. This, plus I find 50s/60s Eoro cars pretty generic and ugly. Especially the rear end of the E-type. It looks like a fucking bath tub.

jason wise And u didn't read what I wrote, the 454 350 etc are covered in old school blocks. When u look at chevy blocks there is no Camaro/vette engines since they shared the same blocks since the beginning with the differences being the heads and cam. The ls series of engines do the same thing to this day.
I had a 67 GMC stepside and wish many, many times that I had kept that truck. It was even the same color. Beautiful truck !!!
Love the simple styling of these trucks.
I love everything about this truck, it's absolutely beautiful. The only thing I would change is not lowering it so much or at all. The front end looks so good with the white.
the best show ever can't wait to watch more
Beautiful paint, and the interior looks immaculate. I guess that I've driven in so many pickups from that era, and the interiors were always at least somewhat dirty.
I love that sound of the truck
My pops had a 67 c10 small back window truck when I was a kid brings back a lot of great memories of him doing burnouts in front of our house
thank's Jay I needed the smile this morning
These vids are good time. My grandpa had one like it, always loved the gauges.

So cool seeing that sign on the door. I have two sets of official Holly part drawers with that logo, in mint shape from my grandfather's garage which he ran from the late 1920's to 1975. I use them in my office.
I had a '68 Chevy C-10 pickup with that 0l' Stink'in 307 cu. in. V-8 engine in it. I Loved the truck but, hated the engine. Very P00r gas milage! This truck brought back a lot of memories. Please, Keep these GREAT SHOWS coming for All Of US Older People from back in them day's, Jay.
Nice! We had a new 1971 C10 when I was a boy back on the farm. We piled the abuse on that truck and it just kept coming back for more. Beautiful job on the restoration!
What a beautiful sea foam green! Love this truck!!
Perfect, just perfect. Great stance, love the wheels, sounds great, it must handle nicely too, good color, simple as it gets, I even really like that Holley logo on the doors! very nice. Sensibly sized too, reminds me almost of an S10 or Sonoma.
Boy, that is such a beautiful truck and so nicely restored keeping it as original as possible....I remember when my uncle got his 72 stepside with a 307 and 3 speed on the column, that was a great truck also....He still has it!
I really love Jay's Garage.
Great episode! Show's keep getting better and better.
Everything Jay comments on about folks using smaller steerings wheels and dub wheels etc, I completely agree with. There is an esthetic that the vibtage vehicle loses when those particular modern parts are used. Well done again Jay & crew.
1st vehicle I bought was a 67 longbed. Jumped it in a pond, pulled it out, take off the heads, and do it again and again.... I miss those days.
My old man had a 68 C10 Black with white c/w red interior , long box . Floor shift 4 speed (factory) with 1st gear was bull low ....remember now ? Yes, the engine was a 307 cu inch 2 barrel carb . Not sure why GM came up with that motor in the 60's The truck was cool and had a cap on the back . This one has a very nice look and the front end view with the chrome bumper. Another cool episode. When Jay mentions the way we used to roll up the windows and pretend we had AC , is so right ....great comments and I get a good laugh out his show and enjoy the love he has for the automobile. Very CoolCheers Alberta Dave
Leno, I'm too young to have experienced you on late night. But this show you've got is the best car show on KZread. 👍 Thanks for sharing your passion in such a pure form.
Absolutely beautiful!
I've seen this truck in person at Hot Rod Power Tour. It's really cool! Love the coil covers that simulate old big block valve covers.
I liked when the owner mentions theres only one sun visor. The pass. side sun visor was an option, and Jay replies "Oh, we dont want to spring for that!" lol
immaculate paintwork!
Burnout? What a wonderful thing! May some things NEVER change!
I have always loved the late 60's to early 70's Chevy C-10's. I have always wanted one and I still hope it happens.
Love the look, that's my favorite color on an old pickup.
Great truck. Don't know why but i gotta watch all the way to the just to hear that old car honk. Thanks jay for showing us your and others great rides
Great show, its great to see jay get his hands dirty a true enthusiast
